I appologize if i am redundant. I read 5 threads without solution.
I had a low blood cells count. I feel healthy (i am 54 stable weight), so i suspect lab error or giving blood 6 weeks ago as the cause. I wiil retest in 2 days.
In the mean time i read vit b9, b12, copper or zinc defficient might be a cause. So i looked them up and eat to raise them, lentils, liver, oysters, chocolate, brewer yeast, mushrooms, lemons and blackstrap molasse.
Your input, suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks!
I had low white blood cells a couple of years ago. You won’t necessarily feel sick. Do a Google search for “how to boost white blood cells”, there’s heaps of good information.
Are you taking any prescription drugs? Some of those can cause temporary leukopenia. A friend of mine years ago thought he had leukemia as after a routine blood count brought back some bad numbers for white counts. It turned out it was the drug he was taking for acid reflux.
Any kind of vitamin or mineral deficiency would have to be pretty severe to cause leukopenia. I’m almost certain for that to be the case you would be feeling a variety of symptoms associated with those deficiencies as well.
Just look into it. I doubt if it were anything serious you would be here asking about it. It may be as simple as you are fighting off a cold or just getting over fighting an infection you weren’t even aware of.
Thanks jehovas i am simply hoping to fix it before i get to that point. Latest search suggested vitamine c, almonds, selenium, yogourt and garlic so i just had almonds, bresilian nut(selenium), lemon, garlic, onion and cabbage.
Also mentioned was avoid sugar and bad fats.
Thanks all!
