First off, the outfits are not overtly sexual for today’s standards, clearly they look nice but apparently these are models so they are hired for that exact reason which would make it odd for them or someone else to complain about them looking nice.
The general point that girls are dressed in sexy clothing for example at the Olympics and that is sexiest against them to me is super odd. The simple fact is: left to their own devices, the overwhelming majority of women like to dress sexy (especially nowadays) and do sports TO look sexy and WANT to look sexy while doing it. This is one of the most appealing aspects of doing sports for women. Every girl that first steps into a gym does it to look more sexy and buys yoga pants (scrunch or similar) to look sexy there. That may change over time. But the crowd fawning over the looks of a girl at the Olympics is their dream come true. Most of them already have an Instagram where they post sexy pictures to get attention. As long as no creep comes up to them and wants something from them, they are perfectly happy to get the attention. That’s why the point that if they don’t complain themselves it should not matter, is valid to me.
Even though I, as a fellow gym goer for example, don’t always like strange women exposing themselves in front of me. I believe there should at least be some standard as to what constitutes decency. I think there’s definitely a too much when it comes to girls wanting to show off themselves in a public space. I don’t train with a short where you can see the length and circumference of my dick and if I’m circumcised or not, I believe this standard should apply to women as well when it comes to camel toe and shorts that go all the way between the ass cheeks. “Just don’t look at it” is also a funny point when some machines are just pointing at one another, mirrors everywhere and the girls setting up their Romanian deadlifts or hip thrusts right in the middle of the room.
I take part in the naturist community where superstitions against nudity are dismissed for the crackpot claims of pornography they are. If people who so wished did sports nude there should be no controversy about it.
But there is something more that disproves the illusion of decency in Spain’s mussitating about how the tennis costume, by some hidden skullduggery, conspires to tug on peoples’ venereal strings for some ulterior reason. Spain sponsors bullfighting, a vastly more perverted sadistic vicious amusement than sexual pornography; including child pornography because children are enrolled in training to grow up to become bullfighters.
How could training for bull fighting possibly be worse for a child than being sexually abused?
I always get a kick out of Americans who think Europeans are somehow more sophisticated. I thought so too until I went to Europe and learned they are mostly just weird perverts.
I think the uniforms look nice. Not too weird, not too perverted. The Europeans got them right.
It’s not people it’s the corporations that are going woke because they are told or believe that is politically correct. Look what happened to Budweiser.

Really? Do you have any research or even anecdotal evidence to support that comment? Perhaps female sports stars want to compete in their sports and perform to a high standard regardless of how they look
…
I know this thread is probably created to get some controversy going but this comment is pretty much everything that is wrong with male attitudes to female sport
You pretty much nailed it. At one university strength coached at, the track team, which was all female, would get as close to stripping down to a thong bikini as they could without the AD saying something at practice every day. They had rocking female athlete bodies and they knew it, they were proud of their bodies, and they had no problem showing it off. Sometimes the AD would say what they were wearing was too revealing and they would cover up, until they figured she was not looking anymore, and strip down again until she said something again.
The same went for most of our other female athletes, who would strip down to tights and sports bras as soon as we would go outside for conditioning.
There’s a reason why beach volleyball players immediately go from wearing shorts and jerseys in college to bikinis when they go on the pro circuit. No one has told them they had to, but they make the choice to do so.
Interesting. Religiously, morally and professionally I’d prefer they wear the standard all white shorts and polo top uniform. It looks better, its modest and appropriate and serves functionally.
As an issue, you wont find me complaining about it either though, they’re born with the free will to wear what they please, you cant force people into believing the same things as you or complain until they comply with standards you belive is correct…although certainly my generation seems to have forgotton that last bit and decided if we compain, scream and cry enough we can force everyone into behaving exactly the way the mob decides is ok.
Stating the obvious is always very controversial today. But here you go:
Have you seen scrunch yoga pants?
Have you heard about BoomBooty yoga pants?
Have you heard girls saying they are annoyed when yoga pants are loose because their butt does not look good?
Have you seen tanga bikinis?
Noticed that women since a year or two are all training in sports bras instead of shirts?
Have you seen the Instagram accounts of most of these female athletes?
Have you seen the TikTok’s from Livvy Dunne, Sydney Smith and the likes?
Have you ever heard anything about human beings wanting to procreate and therefore females trying to attract mates primarily with their looks? Evolutionary biology has a huge focus on that and there’s many scientific papers about it.
Have you heard about sex sells in marketing?
Is that anecdotal evidence enough or do you want me to write a book?
