I'm So Proud!

Recently I started training my wife (no gutter jokes please) as a way to spend more time together and also allowing me a second workout 3 days a week. She doesn??t need to train, she??s pretty fit but who can??t be in better shape, usually she kind of goes through the motions while I get in my ab work and time on the punching bag. Well last night she was on her 4th set of DB military presses and couldn??t finish more than 3 reps, usually this is when she calls it quits.

She told me that she couldn??t do it so I said no big deal just go on to your next lift and I started into another set of weighted crunches when I noticed she was back on the seat, had lowered the weight a little and hammered out 2 more sets!!! I??ve never been so proud, I almost shed a tear. She??s coming over to the dark side!! Huuuhahaha!!!

That’s awesome, man. Congrats to her for discovering the right attitude and inner drive.

Just wait 'til she gets her first chin-up or a set of full push-ups from the toes (if she hasn’t yet).

Thank you, thank you. I was pretty stoked! She’s pretty much a stud, has those good genes, she can do 3-4 pull ups but I haven’t tested her push up max yet. Hopefully she’ll actually start getting into it with some consistancy.
