I'm Scared to Death of TRT

so, in the span of literally a day my heart rate dropped down from 75-77 to 68 to 72 resting heart rate. Is that normal to happen in a day like that rather than a slow gradual fall?

Bro Im myself also considering TRT but will try clomid first. I’ve read hundreds of reports and watched podcast of some of the most prominent doctors in USA. I also made a consultation with one of the top USA TRT clinics(no name no advertisement) so this is what I know to be true for most people:

  1. Erections and libido increase significantly after TRT except if they put you on some fucking AI

  2. Sleep quality increases also except if they put you on some fucking protocol with rare injections and you have estrogen spikes

  3. Well being also improves except again if they put you on a fucking protocol

From what I’ve read and heard most issues from TRT are from bad protocols. Most often mistake from the doctors is to make your injections too rare. If somebody tells you every two week for example run away(except if you have extremely high SHBG).

What side effects to really watch out for:

  1. Make a test for sleep apnea before going on TRT. Very important. I think nobody mentions that. If you have sleep apnea after going on TRT you risk to have problem with red blood cells.

  2. Your fertility will decrease even with HCG. As much as I understood even with HCG your fertility will drop with 30-60 percent depending on your personal case.

The fertility issue is what is mostly holding me back since I do not have kids. I do not want to take this decision to fix myself the easy way and then to be sorry I cannot have kids. I know I do not need the 100 percent of mt fertility and even 40 percent can do the job but still… So thats why I will try first the hard way with clomid, but it already seems my body does not tolerate that well.

And stay away of TRT doctors that like to put AI in every protocol. Remember AI is to be used only in really high estrogen case and for short time. In most cases estrogen normalizes itself if the protocol is good and your diet and exercise schedule are not shit. Also there are natural AIs like DIM(i3c) that I know do help even for people on steroids.

Ok, I’ll bite, what are UGL sources?

“Underground lab” sources… which are not discussed on the forum.

You need to watch and read some more, because none of this is actually true, at least not as a rule. Especially number 1.

" If you have sleep apnea after going on TRT you risk to have problem with red blood cells."
I don’t know where you got this one, but don’t go back there. That’s like saying owning a Miata may give you AIDS. TRT increases RBC, it has nothing to do with sleep apnea. If you have sleep apnea you should treat that first, it may be causing your low test. And being on does not render you infertile, HCG or not.

To many variables do it for weeks and months. I wouldn’t focus on heart rate like that. You are going to drive yourself crazy. You are not going to have the same heart rate when you had low t. BP either. It’s all going to change.

Fertility returns if you had fertility before trt. I have never heard these statistics and I’ve never heard any of the top Trt docs say otherwise. Almost all of them suggest adding HCG when the time for fertility arrives. Many folks in the industry have had kids once starting HCG. Not one, but some
Have had 2 and 3.

The balls simply go into offline mode. HCG brings them back online and after a couple
Months back in action.

Chlomid does not raise levels to high normal levels. It works best if with HCG because otherwise low free t isn’t beneficial in most men.

If you are at 49 why are you worried about hct? Stop obsessing over it. You are fine. If they won’t script I know docs who will .

Guys worry when they go past 54. If you are prone yes worry when 52/54 but otherwise enjoy the benefits of trt. More oxygen in the blood is what all athletes and fit men woman want . Low hct sucks.

Honestly you are making a big deal or nothing. Where was your hct before Trt? How long on trt now? How long have you’d at at 49? How do you feel otherwise?

BP is 117/74

The heart rate plummet in a single day plus chest and back discomfort going away at the same time is what freaked me out the most. Back of my mind I thought “hr goes down 8 beats, oh no, is my heart damaged?”

You are going to manifest physical problems via mental fear.

I would stop and focus on being positive. The body and mind are powerful. Control the mind and the body will follow.

Stress happens and it causes chemicals to release.

Fear same thing.

When positive you send other chemicals and signals.

So be careful and stop mind fucking yourself beother. You are fine. Until it’s obvious you are not.

Also BP is not accurate at home. You have to be relaxed and calm. Hold arm at heart level. Mine was 10-20 points higher. I relaxed and held arm at heart level like the guide said and I was back to perfection.

Well bro I know this from a consultation with one of the most respected TRT clinics in USA and yeas this information is not wide known.

It seems you did not understand me. Yea red blood cells always go higher on TRT. But if you already have sleep apena when starting on TRT is this case the red blood cells will most likely go dangerously high. If you do not have apnea and you do not overdose the testosterone most likely(of course not always) red blood cells will go higher but not too high to make problems. These are not my thoughts or something I read in google so I decided to share it

Well yes fertility does not disappear but It seems most clinics with younger guys like me seem to try first to restore own production with clomid.
Even Jay Campbell on TOT Revolution who is the biggest TRT advocate mentioned that. It is not from one or two places, most of the top TRT doctors in USA seem to prefer this approach.
And yes Im not optimistic this will work because it seems clomid works well for very few people. Some people do not tolerate it and I think I got rash from it. Also for some people it raises total and free T and they still do not feel well. I understood this is from the mechanism clomid works but could not understand why. For some people it works only for short time.

From the other side I was told by the clinic I got the consultation with that in their observarion micro dosing of clomid for a prolonged period of time may work well and may awaken my pituitary cells. They prescribed me 12.5mg 3 times a week. Im not very comfortable what side effects this can have long term. But I will try to stick with that for at least 2-3 months to see how numbers will go.

From the other side I know a guy who has a pharmaceutical business and he has much experience with fixing people on anabolics(in my country doctors cannot do that because they are clueless). He suggeated to try to restart my pituitary for 2-3 weeks with much higher dosages of clomid and other staff we did not talk about. I wonder if this approach my not be better but it seems more dangerous.

And at the end I just want to have high test, to feel better and to not have side effects :frowning:

You can provide name. Why don’t you?

True. If I recall correctly defy does this… But only if you need it lol

I do not think it is correct from my point of view. But bottom line is this information is not found on a scam website or shit. Also if you read enough about how the red blood cells are formed you can find it sounds logical.
Anyway these days I will rent the apparatus to test myself for sleep apnea although Im almost sure I do not have.

Am not questioning that post. I don’t have enough knowledge about that.

It’s just nice to share the name of the clinic to help others on here.

To be honest my first consult with defy I had with a female medical assistant or something and she really over did it with the ai stuff. .025 anastrazole 3× per week and 100mg Dim 2× per day. And that was without ever having a e2sensitive test done. My first correct e2 test will be at my upcoming labs. I take 1 dim most nights if I remember and have taken a total of 2 of the anastrazole and i dont have an high e symptoms. I kind of look at it as they are a business and they need to protect themselves from liability. So selling overpriced lowdose AIs that even if you do crash they can just tell you to stop after labs with no real long term damage done is to be expected. I would imagine it also kind of covers them incase you end up growing a nice set of c cups they can prove that they recomended controlling estrogen and provided a means to do so. So far Defy has been great for me but honestly they are just a source of medication I need that is more convenient then dealing with a gp or living off UGL supplies 247365. You should always hear out your Dr and take into consideration what they say but most importantly you need to get educated and make your own final decisions because you have to live with the fall out if you end up ruining yourself. A Dr can just wash their hands of you.

Quoted for truth. Listen to your doctor → educate yourself → make your own decisions. It’s your body and you are the one who has to live with the consequences, either way. If your doctor is constantly giving you advice that is not backed up by research, get another doctor.

“Not widely known” is code for “I just pulled this out of my ass and there’s nothing to back it up”.

Unless you get extensively tested, you cannot be sure you have sleep apnea. I know it’s the disease du jour, but it’s rarer than the fear-mongering would have you believe.

The mind is an exceedingly powerful thing; do not let yourself be run by a fearful imagination.

High hemocrit/rbc count isn’t by itself meaningful. If high platelets, yes there’s reason to be concerned.

Otherwise, people live with very high hemocrit/rbc all around the world at high altitudes and live long and prosperous lives.

There is a vast difference between Polycythemia & Erythrocytosis.

TRT-induced erythrocytosis is perfectly healthy and nothing to be worried about. It does NOT thicken blood and does NOT require blood letting.
