I'm Scared to Death of TRT

Boy, crazy good read these last 10 posts. All from my being scare of resting heart rate lol.

I wonder, if HCT rises as mine did but all other bloods well in the norm, is that a “thickening”???..or just an increase in blood concentration. I know that sounds the same,…but what if it’s not.

High hematocrit by itself does NOT mean the blood is “thickening” or becoming more viscous.

Your doctor should watch your platelets - if they go up, in conjunction with a high rbc count, that could be a red flag.

I have never heard of Chlomid kick starting a poorly performing hormonal axis into optimal mode. If ones T serum was 200 before Chlomid, it will not be 800 months after stopping.

People who do cycles (was body builders) use it to turn the system back on.

Also Chlomid is Edtrogen and that is why you will find sides.

Do yourself that favor and find one man who was able to realize high t levels post Chlomid.

Once that happens choose the best track to optimizing your Hormones.

Hope that helps

They say take as needdd but they never say don’t take it because e2 is already low. How many times have we caught that around here?

Oh, ha, let me tell you about my view of clomid in hindsight now that I’ve experienced the glory of TRT.

I was on clomid 5 years. All it did was remove depression. Still had soft erections but occasional hard, zero labido (masterbated once a month if that) constant headaches. Clomid is def a drug to use for a month or 2 or 3. Never as long as I did. Oh and I have permanent eye damage from clomid. Floaters and night tracer (side’s that go away after using clomid a month or 3) since I was on so long, they are perm.

Even if clomid kickstarted, it may not be worth it still.

Well it is a very tricky question for me that I cannot answer yet. Will try to follow doctor’s advice for 2-3 months and then reconsider.

First my total T is around 360, I’m 30 years old. I mean it is not 200, but it is not 800 either. The so- called normal-low. About my free testosterone - it is measured in different units here, but imagine a scale from 8 to 40. Mine is moving between 9-11. Once it was 6.75 but I could not sleep well 1-2 weeks due to travelling and a disease.

So I guess they want to test my T production with clomid and I know it will suck. Bro, I was feeling shitty for the last two years with this low T and now with the clomid and cabergoling I feel EVEN more shitty. I feel more sleepy, more fatigued and like it is hard for me to sense my emotions due to the fucking cabergoline I guess.

But the issue with my testoterone really seems to be LH, FSH and Prolactin so this treatment makes sense. They want me to keep micro dosing clomid for some prolonged time. Will I be able to maintain my levels after that - they said if I keep the micro dosing enough time there is some chance. I’ve never read anything to back that up, but I’m not a doctor.

My treatment definitely does not sound fun, except if the testosterone elevates(like we expect) and I really start feeling better. I’m 10 days on this shit and still nothing, but with the extremely low dosages I guess totally normal. Also on my initiative I decided to combine the clomid/caber with Boron(still 3mg) and Indolene-3-Carbinol(200mg standard dose), I guess you get my idea.

There are more things about TRT I need to consider, I’m waiting the delivery of Jay Campbell’s TOT Bible in 1-2 weeks. I’m afraid not only from the fertility stand point, but because my organism was like always weak. Always strongly reacting to medications and even when I start a new supplement a week or two I feel strange from it, like it causes minor side effects in my body. I have a few known allergies like lidocain and peniciline and who knows how many uknown. I suspect I may have allergic reaction now to either the caber or the clomid because I have some rash these days. If I start TRT who knows if I might be allergic to the ester form of the testosterone, to the HCG or who knows what strange shit may happen with my body…I mean my body really reacts strange to many things, like I said supplements for example.

Did you go on TRT? I missed that part…

How do you feel compared to clomid? Since I just started micro dosing clomid now I’m wondering what are my chances with this nasty drug.

It will not increase your production and never has bro. There is zero case study showing this and not one doc on YouTube says otherwise.

If a man has low t you take trt or HCG as the optimal route out of this hell hole.

I had t in the 200s and 3.5 free t. I’m 40.

Trust me stop the bleeding and make your decision based on factual evidence not heresay from a doc.

I guess you are most probably right.

But if there is no chance to stimulate my pituitary to produce more LH and FSH why from the clinic decide to put me on clomid in the first place? They said to “test my body”.

Bear in mind I’m not officially their patient(the clinic is in USA and I live in Eastern Europe so we do it remotely), what we do is consultation only so they do not bear any responsibility for me(this was our agreement) and they do not have reasons to be afraid if they put me on TRT unnecessary. And still they advised me to try to stimulate own production instead of shutting it down. They also said this is their standard approach for patients in my situation(relatively young without kids and with normal-low ranges)

Not questioning your experience man, just thinking out loud…

You will find out quickly that doctors are not well educated on hormones. These clinics are dispensaries they want to make money. If you want to consult someone about your situation you a private trt doc.

Again it takes a few mins go to google and type in a Chlomid pubmed or Cade study and read up.

Ask your doc how many times has this worked in the past and how long have you been doing it. You won’t find anything promising.

On this forum type in Chlomid and look at all the folks using or trying it.

Go to the pharmacy section and ask them what they think.

You will see that the evidence is overwhelmingly negative.

It’s unfortunate and you cannot rely on someone who makes such false statements. Problem is anyone can prescribe hormones or give advice if they are a doctor. I would ask them what their experience is and what was their original occupation in the medical field. Some might of been dermatologists or eye docs.

Even endocrinologists in the states are not taught about trt in med school.

So yeah it’s sad but the truth.

Here is a great article from the late wizard of TRT. He gave clients Chlomid often but as he says in the article it’s not to permanently try to increase t. It’s an alsternative to trt

I looked for studies to help guide you but they all talked about during treatment and not what happens after. I did not find any other studies that tried to permanently increase t with short term clomid use.

Anyways I’ve set you on the path and I’m sure you’ll make the right decision.

Hopefully sooner than later so that you can return to normality of life.

Thank you for the article.

It seems even dr John Crisler who was undoubtedly one of the most competent hormone doctors (let him rest in peace) would have maybe prescribed me clomid to begin with. In fact I’ve watched this podcast of him where he mentions that with Jay Campbell.

You know maybe this treatment has also something to do with the most likely cause of my issues - empty cella syndrome of the pituitary. Seems the pituitary is slightly pressed upfront and the cells inside may be little asleep(hopefully not dead). And as much as I l know this is the part where the LH and FSH are produced. Also the most important part of my treatment now is the caber, because the elevated prolactin maybe also fucks LH and FSH.

I plan to continue this way the next two months, to fill up my TRT knowledge, to research a potential doctor to work with in case of starting TRT(I like very much dr Keith Nichols who also does remote consultations although very expensive). I like his clean approach to TRT and preference to use less drugs and AIs.

In the mean time I need to check myself for sleep apnea and in two months with more knowledge and my condition then I will consider whether to start TRT or not.Otherwise I have the testosterone here in my country, I can buy it without problem, Cypionate top quality and very cheap here, also HCG is quite cheap compared to USA

Clomid at 50mg daily first month was …AMAZING… for 2 weeks (for all the reasons opposite of below. THEN high estrogen comes in.

Anger
Short temper
Cry easily
Headaches
reduces filter with what you say.
Foggy mind
Achy joints
No muscle gain

I reduced to 25mg daily. Minor help. But still “cranky”. T reduced by half.

Over the 5 years my balls shrank even on Clomid.

I just started T

Great sex
Longer dick (most likely what I already had and never utilized.)
Girthier. (Same reason as length)
Sharper mind
Quick muscle gains
Instant recovery
Zero soarness
Workouts are easier
Workouts time perception feels faster. Like, its over quicker than I expect.

I inject twice a week. Likely moving to
m-w-f to lower e2 and hct more.

No AI

TRT side’s so far

Increased HR
Bloating

Something Clomid did do that was unexpected and I’m sure will continue with TRT. my teeth are in perfect condition. Zero cavities. Even a cavity I had just before Clomid has not progressed further. That bone health claim is pretty legit. I avoided the dentist for 5 years. Went in last week. Xrays show perfect healthy enamel.

Took me 4 years to get comfy with TRT

read Morgentaler a “trt for life” book.

Watch ALL of his videos.

Don’t listen to or read Jay Campbell’s books and YouTube channel until you have a more firm committed understanding of TRT. Campbell’s literature can scare people away that don’t have a matured foundational understanding of TRT. Not any kind of expert level, just a firm grasp of the “reality” of TRT. A “peace of mind”.

For me, I had to come to terms with the reality that I would be on a serm or TRT the rest of my life. So, the decision became one of logic. Which treatment was healthiest and more beneficial long term.
TRT won.

Yes but not to permanently boost t like your doc stated.

Andrew Marr

His story tied the knot for me.

Is it possible clomid to cause weight gain?

I feel my appetite increased and seems I’ve put one kg on top in the last two weeks. Also I am a bit overweight and Im always struggling with excessive weight…

P.S. i will start metformin these days

Hm strange so far what I watched from Campbell did not scare me from TRT, just on the contrary it all sounds very motivating.

I will try to find time to read what you’ve recommended.

But hell bro this morning I woke up moody(took clomid and caber last night) stepped up on the scale and boom 1 kg up. I realized the last two weeks I’ve been eating like a pig. And you know the last 1.5 years I put a lot of effort to drop 12 kgs and now in one month I put up again 2 :frowning: Very depressing. Except the low T and all symptoms from there my other great weakness is the never - ending appetite.

I started to experience mind shift towards TRT, but not yet there. Now I really need to check myself for sleep apnea and will also check how much in my country costs to freeze sperm.

Is it air?
For me I have gained either far or water. I thought it was air for a while. But when I sit I can grab a good amount of skin. I have no idea why this happened. I eat well and exercise.

I have a bunch of labs coming up if they help.
