Is hct of 49 bad?
No it is not. Body on trt aleays jnfreases hct and rbc and hemoglobin. You jsut don’t want a dose that spikes it into the mid 50s. Plenty of men and woman living around the slopes and resorts with a 51-53 and docs don’t tell them to donate blood.
Everyone is unique though and if one has sides or very high rbc hct and hemo you better look into it.
Otherwise body is behaving naturally with optimal supply of hormones.

If it did go that high, what kind of answers are there besides donating blood? Would a dose and injection frequency change help?
Well if you had sides donate blood right away. That’s 54% and beyond. If no sides some docs would have you lower your dose. I don’t know if frequency would help. Some docs jsut freak out and pull scripts. You shouldn’t get that high unless there are other issues.
Might want to look into staying hydrated preore test. Finding supplements to keep that engine working efficiently as well. Iron and etc.

Also, how long generally till it settles?
Not sure some docs say it settles at 18 months. Not sure though.
Weird strange metallic type sensation and tastes in my mouth lately. This never happens. Is this a TRT thing??

My ferritin as of Wednesday is only 170. 
Honestly I just don’t want my hct to go higher. Last thing I need is a phlebotomy. I was thinking of going to defy but looks like they flip out and yank scripts regarding hct. Fuuuuuck dat
Ferritin is not absolutely definitive regarding Iron levels, could also be copper or possibly zinc levels causing it.
