I'm Perkisizing!

I’m always amazed at people that can have legit training sessions when on vacay. Maybe you’re not much of a drinker, but the physical conditions I tend to be in, plus the less-than-stellar gym setup, tends to leave me going through second rate sessions. Nice work though brotha.

lol.

Hitting PRs on vacay is definitely beast mode. Sounds like your brothers pretty much a beast too. I will never complain about you being able to afford sessi supplements when you basically work full time though, respect bro.

I meant to type “cool” people . . . .

do you do any backdown sets with bench? When i got up to 315 i was always doing a max rep set with 185 and then 135 after my heavy work. Think i got up to 25 or so and 40+ pretty continuous reps, might be the volume your looking for to add in, doesnt really hinder to much recovery IMO. looking solid of course. [/quote]

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” right? What I’ve been doing has been working pretty well. My bench has stalled a bit as of late but my deadlift has shot up and I’ve lost weight so I can’t complain. I do do some higher rep stuff, though, but to me 25 reps just seems like a waste of time/effort if you’re looking for strength. Thanks for the advice, though!

Yeah I did some drinking while I was there but not enough to leave me feeling like garbage the next day. I wasn’t 100% the day after but I was able to get some pretty decent work in. I hardly ever drink and when I do it’s always just a couple, but when I’m in an environment like Cancun I’ll have a few lol. It’s my rare 1 week out of the year that I just like to relax and enjoy myself but it’s still nothing crazy.

Are you doing anything special diet wise to drop the weight or just letting it happen naturally?

I’m going to be doing pulse feasts to an extent. I usually just like to pulse with MAG-10 for breakfast and then resume normal eating at around noon. It’s an easy way to drop calories (I did this same thing last year) while gaining a bit of strength.

You’re so amazing, so I’m quiet sure you can do whatever and still gain strength.

“H2) Cable Rope Iso-Holds for 30-45 seconds”

Is this literally just a hold at the peak?

Good luck with your meet, and awesome progress with your training!

It’s mid-rep and I had never done it until today. Just experimenting a bit. I’m not sure that I liked it very much lol.

Thanks!
