Essentailly four months post stroke.

Military Press

It was ugly, but I got it up. I took a video of it. I stalled about halfway up, but got it going again for a brief lock out of the elbows.

Super setted with Dead Lifts

Again, very very ugly. Got past where I bailed on the first attempt, started losing grip at the knees, but ground it out to a lock without hitching.

A PR for Military Press, and pulled the most I have in a couple of years. It was a good night at the gym.

Weighed in @ 204 lbs.

20161106 - Hockey

Refereeing - 2 hours.

Right knee was a little gimpy for the first game. So in between games, I put a lot more horse liniment on.

The knee felt a lot better and I could put full pressure on it. That went ok until a kid slid into me and knocked me down on that knee.

Iced the knee down at the rink before I drove home.

Well… hockey games were cancelled, some problem at the rink.

Refereeing - 2 hours

Right knee didn’t like it. I did warmups before the start. Need to figure out why I can play 2 games in a row, but not referee.

It’s probably the lack of breaks between shifts.

20161114 - Hockey

Refereeing - 1 hour

Covered the Monday night game of a different league.

Right knee slowly went downhill. Iced it afterwards.

Going to spend tomorrow wearing the knee brace and icing it, see if that helps. To stay on schedule, I’ll need to deadlift tomorrow, 2 hours of skating on Wednesday night, then my league game Thursday night.

You are truly a busy man.

Ha, well… the nickname was more for the number of children I have, lol.

Could not get the 3rd one up. Tried twice nd stalled at about a foot up. The last set was essentially singles. The stupid octagonal plates caused the bar to land and angle. Grip sucked too.

Also, probably shouldn’t have eaten the pizza with the kids at dinner. That didn’t help.

Skating Lesson - 1 hour
Wed Night Men’s Scrimmage - 1 hour

Typical night. Made some good passes, plays. Caught a couple of hard passes. Two break aways, need to shoot earlier.

Knee was ok. Iced it down between skates helped.
