I'm Getting Worried: The Erosion of Our Rights

Yep. Roads, bridges, hospitals, fire departments, defense, many other things I’m glad we have. And I think the vast majority of Americans feel the same way. Most of us seem to be ok with these “illegitimate” things.
I bet you and your family use government things all the time.

What a neat idea. Do I need to answer this for you? I feel like you know the answer. But maybe you have no one like this in your community. We’re a pretty small area and we have lots of kids who could use your help. Maybe you would consider moving here and providing 8 hours of care for him after your 8
hour workday? Then I’d only need two other people to do the same for the rest of this kids life. You will need a decent bit of schooling and I’m sure if it’s privatized you won’t mind adding to the cost for him? He won’t have any money so you’re willing to help with the cost of formula and other necessities right? I mean that’s what your job is for when you aren’t with him.

I’m thankful we have so many community people who are willing to give up so much of their lives for people like this.

If you can let me know when you’re moving her and willing to start let me know. Of course we won’t be paying you. I’m sure you wouldn’t want paid since it’s just a community burden. If you can save your money as well because if this kid needs hospitalized as he often does those doctors aren’t going to work for free.

I wish I only worked 8 hour days. I have my own family, friends and community to help. But i do donate to other causes so volunteers near this kid can help him. His circumstances do not justify theft.

About a generation ago, it was called the Church. Schools, hospitals, community outreach. All completely voluntary without government compulsion.

So… is that the before picture?

Lol, who knows…

Ah. Just as I suspected. You want to brainwash kids. And, most likely, enslave African-American children. And make women do housework all day. You probably don’t even recognize that weekends were made possible by Unions. (/s)

Maybe you’re better than most. How often do you spend watching kids like him? How much do you think that kid is going to need for his life? Exactly how much money are you donating? I’m gonna guess your donations aren’t covering even a month of what this kid needs. But I do appreciate you being unselfish. That seems like a rare thing to need to celebrate but well you’ve seen some posts in this thread.

A generation ago? I wonder why we have so many kids needing adopted? Wonder why the church isn’t clothing and feeding all the kids I work with? Let alone all the kids who I don’t work with? If you can give me the number of the churches that cover all the elderly who can’t work, physically and mentally disabled, etc let me know. You know full well what life was like for people like that.

Don’t get me wrong churches and organizations do help. But they don’t even get close to meeting the need.

Taxation isn’t theft but I feel like we’ve gone that road on this forum many times.

So without debating what you said, let me accept it as fact and ask, does that justify theft?

Are we gonna do the taxation is slavery thing?

If so this country was founded on the slavery of all as have essentially most societies for a long time that have had taxation.

People are sitting on their asses in air conditioned homes posting on message board and watching Netflix but hey it’s just slavery man. That money coming out is just the masters lashes.

In fact the wealthiest people in this country are the biggest slavery victims! The kid I’m talking about receives no lashes! Some dude with three mansions is being whipped mercilessly by comparison! Why do we have this society that he has received no benefits from repeatedly lashing him? Maybe the church can help!

Someone PLEASE start a society without the lashings.

Theft? What, pray tell, are you talking about?

Have his parents given him up?

“No one can serve two masters,” Jesus says in Matthew 6:24. “Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”

I’m assuming you have no money?

His parents are dead.

Who has custody of him?

The state of Kansas. If you can get information to me I can start the adoption process. Just let me know how many you want.

So, taxation is unnecessary in a Christian society. Good. Glad we got that straight.

You already know the kid. Why isn’t he already with you?

I know a lot of kids who need help like him and we’ve been licensed foster parents for 6 years.

Why hasn’t the church adopted the thousands of kids yet? Aren’t you supposed to be pro-life? You want me to do it all I guess? Or maybe you’re so busy being whipped you can’t take care of them?

But it’s weird to think about the elderly or disabled. Most of whom are currently in a situation where they aren’t slaves at all. We should have more empathy for the ones being whipped. You’re probably whipped so much I’m surprised you can type.

Maybe you and I could start a society with no whipping. No taxes. Let’s get started!

That’s not how I read that. Don’t you serve money? I’m assuming you have some given the amount of posts on T-Nation.

But we don’t have to really talk about books of sorcery here. If we are I have always preferred the Lord of the Rings.

“For example, in 1913, the passing of the Mental Incapacity Act in Britain led to around 40,000 men and women being locked away, having been deemed “feeble-minded” or “morally defective”. Many disabled people living in hospitals, special schools and care homes are known to have suffered severe emotional and physical abuse.

Institutions regularly regarded their disabled residents as second-class citizens and showed them little respect. Staff often made little attempt to empathise with disabled people’s experiences, denying them autonomy, choice and dignity and at times deliberately causing them pain and discomfort. In care homes and special schools for disabled children, there was sometimes hardly any attempt to meet the children’s emotional needs or acknowledge their individual identities.“

So this is an example of a government doing something very bad we can agree? Why would they do this? Why weren’t the churches already taking care of them?
