I’m not sure why your friend even told you any of that. I mean what good could it possibly have done.
The answer, of course, is to work your ass off like you have been and just get stronger than them. Just sayin’…
Solid training Matty!

Fuck em matty, you got more important things to worry about like which avi you’ll be sporting when Sanchez throws his 15th pick in a couple weeks.

I can out geek ALL of you (see below, that is my name on the bottom)
And I’ll never understand why some people feel the need to TELL us every negative thing they hear other people saying about us. “No offense, but…”
Whatever. Those asshats can blow you. Their loss.
HOLY SHIT Kent! that is impressive, A man of many layers you are…
Yeah I never understood that start of a sentence “no offense but” really? does that it make it automatically OK to shit on me now?
I also like “Don’t take this personally, but…”
Great pressing Matty. I’m realizing lately that I have been half-assing my tri work.
Fuck this session had me feeling the same way…all I ever did for tris before starting westside was pulldowns and skullcrushers. CGBP, NG presses and Tate presses fucked my world up.

AWESOME!!!
Kent & Matty,
I live in Naperville IL, which is South of Lake Geneva WI by a little ways So with that being said I went to Gencon from 82-87. In 83,85 the final round of the D&D tourney I was able to play under MR. Gary Gygax himself. Wow what a trip.
Awesome KENT- What edition do you play? Do you have any extra material or Dungeons you want to send my way? I DM 2nd ed AD&D right now.
Rick
Matty, I created the RPG and sold it. Wish I could claim credit for the artwork, but no way, had to hire other guys to do the pix. (Name dropping: one of the artists was some guy called Glenn Villpu, whom I later found out is a god among illustrators. Another fellow was Swinton Scott, who drew for Marvel and later directed several episodes of “Simpsons”. He took me on a tour of the place - cool!)
Playtested the game for several years . . . forging the deepest friendships I made in L.A. . . . going to conventions . . . those were the days.
(Trivia note: my Cavalier character makes a cameo appearance on one page.)
Cav - Your RPG is for sale on many websites! That must have been some cool times…
