Thanks, I just spit ground beef and spinach all over my desk and key board lol.

Same to you and your sprockets pic.

I hate to say it, but he deserves it. Anyone who says “…but it shows my biceps all right” in a physique post at a whole 115 lbs of raging fury should be shot. Unless he’s 3’8".

Well, I think is a little over the top, but I see your point.

I’m 6’1, 167lb
Bench: 200lb
Squat: 250lb
Deadlift: 215lb

Umm, I’m finding the above replies very entertaining. Seriously though, it mostly looks like your posting this as a joke. You dont really have a “physique” to show. I dont mean that in a bad way.

Its just that you have a mirror and you dont need US to tell you that you need a LOT of work lifting and eating and developing your entire body. Stick to the basics and lift for 5 more years…THEN post another picture.

Sweet…Check me out.

He had a whole lot of ridiculous people trying to be extremely nice to him in his previous thread about wanting to quit, so his concept of where he actually stands me be slightly askew.

Believe it or not, it’s how I get my motivation. I get a bad picture of myself. You guys insult, and it’s motivation.

How about you quit posting pictures, lift weights hard for 2 or 3 years and get people actually throwing compliments in your direction?

My motivation is in knowing I accomplished something, not by NOT accomplishing anything and having others point that out.

When do you plan on actually reaching some of these goals?

Yea, I remember the “Should I Quit?” thread. Didn’t we give you a TON of good advice? I’m pretty sure we did. So, why post lame pictures 3 weeks later? Instead, how about implementing everything you were advised on and do it consistently (along with a proper diet) for a solid year, then post pictures.

At this point, you have no time to waste dicking around on forums posting pictures of 13" biceps. Use that time to actually do some bodybuilding, and in a year you’ll have something to really show for it.

Honestly, this forum was the absolute WORST fucking idea ever…
: (

OK, based on the above responses, I change my opinion- Wolverine needs to seek psychiatric help AND quit posting on this Board and stop wasting our time. You dont belong here.

I also agree that this Thread is a train wreck. However, as someone (Mufasa?) earlier mentioned, there IS a way it can be properly used. If we can assign a measurable rating system, then I suggest we simply RATE the physique and maybe give a brief explanation of WHY the rating was assigned…

Even still I dont see the benefit of this cause if anyone is asking for advice, then tahts the subject of a different forum.

I was thinking of posting some “progress” pics of myself as I am now 6 weeks out from my next contest, but actually, what good would it do? I a;ready know I still need to lean out some more, I already know how to do it, and I already know what things need more improvement.

Do I really care how I measure up with you guys? It doesnt really matter. Do I even care how judges rate my physique on stage? Not really. The only person I need to impress is myself, and that will involve improving over my previous best condition.

After that, I let the results fall where they may cause at the end of the day, it’s MY body I will be seen walking around with, and if Im healthy, and I feel good about how I look, thats all that matters!

Judging from the pic in your profile, I doubt anyone would be negative. You look excellent.

That’s a helluva far cry from 130 pounders posting these kinds of shots…

The pictures are from the same time from the “Should I Quit” thread. I’ve made gains. Gained some muscle, strength and body fat.

Maybe, but in no way is it at all noticeable in pictures. Seriously, get to the weights and eating and forget the pics.

If you’re going to take the time to record something, make it your lift numbers and calories. Do you know how to do the equations for what you’ll need to eat calorie and macronutrient wise? You should, because it’s important to know exactly what you’re doing - in the gym and in the kitchen - if you want to make serious progress.

But beyond that, it’s as simple as EAT, LIFT and GROW - no photography necessary.

Im starting to think that maybe, just maybe, this kid isnt going to use any of this advice he is being given. Which is good, because if he did, it might actually result in some progress, and god knows nobody wants that.

Shannagans, there is no way in hell you can only deadlift 15lbs more then you bench, unless all you did was train bench for a few years.(which im guessing you haven’t lifted for that long).

That should have been evident from that first ridiculous thread about him quitting. Strangely, you had post after post trying to act like they were all paid motivational speakers and it all just sounded corny and useless.

Anyone who has to be told not to quit…is not worth the time. Sorry. That may suck to hear, but it’s the truth. The guy who will work his ass off doesn’t give up that easily. It is that hard worker I would go out of my way to help, not the kid who starts crying about quitting the moment things get even the slightest bit difficult.

10 years from now, out of the two, who will still be pushing hard?

I agree, but it is possible that he believes that he can only deadlift 15 pounds more than he can bench. Deadlift seems to freak people out, for some reason.

That was me with squatting for a while. I would be scared to max out on a squat or go to failure. when I finally realized that I was being a great big giant pussy and manned up my squat went up 30 lbs that day. interesting how our psychology can affect us.
