If You Made A Starter Kit?

I have started the first week of my new workout and I want to get the most out of this next 8 weeks. Is there anyone that would be able to tell me what supplements you would have to start off with. I am already taking Flaxseed Oil pills. I am trying to loose fat and get stronger (Surprise, I know).

Basically I’m asking for ideas for a starter kit that would help the most with inflammation, Meal replacement, anything would be of great help. Thank you.

Just thought a pic of the dog fit for some reason?

  1. Whey protein
  2. Creatine monohydrate
  3. A multivitamin (I suggest GNC Mega Men’s, b/c I take it and it’s treated me right)

That’s what I recommend for your goals. I also take a vasal dilator and muscle milk, but those three listed above should maybe help. Creatine will load your muscles with water, so you might not want to use it depending on your weight goals.

The link above would be good reading in regard to helping you develop a good starter kit.

D

Would there be a good mix of the muscle and fat burn? Is there a correct dosage and timing for each Supp? thanks again for you help.

I would recommend fish oil instead of flax oil once you run out of what you have now.

BCAA’s!

Off topic but in the link too TC’s article A Stack for Every Occasion is that blonde chick not the sexiest lady on the planet?!?

  1. caffeiene in AM
  2. lots of water, all day
  3. clean diet, no fast foot, lots of veggies and fruits

oh wit. you said supps?

  1. Caffeiene in AM
  2. USANA essential multi mineral/ multi vit
  3. Ambien

hows that?

In order of importance

  1. Some type of Post-Workout Shake
(could be Endurox, could be Optimum Nutrition, could be Surge. Just something with protein that you can add carbs to or that already has carbs)

  2. Creatine
Plain Creatine. Not NO-Xplode. Not any Nuclear Powered shit. Just white, sandy powder that comes in a plastic bin.

  3. Flameout
Yeah. This is more important than a multivitamin. Multivitamins are unnecessary. The only deficiency most people have is a Vitamin D deficiency and I know you’ll be slinging back the milk so that won’t be an issue. Just eat right and a multivitamin won’t be necessary. Eat a diverse array of protein sources and you won’t need BCAAs. Eat fish twice a day and you won’t need Flameout or another fish oil product.

Drop the Flax Seed oil. It’s been shown to have the same estrogen increasing properties as soy.

Thnks for all the help. MN, very insightful!! FIGHTING, if I have taken Creatine once while in college for baseball, will it work again? Flameout after workout or all day? Hard to eat fish twice a day. Fish oil Pills ok?

Go with Flameout as a base supplement and add HOT-ROX Extreme to help lean out and get more muscular. I don’t know exactly what it is about HOT-ROX Extreme, but I’m convinced I put on muscle while using it even though I’m eating to lose fat.

I’ve stopped using multivitamins because I’ve never noticed a benefit when talking them. I’d rather just put a little more effort toward eating more fruits and vegetables each day.

  1. Hard work
  2. Lean protein
  3. Hard work
  4. Veggies
  5. Hard Work
  6. Sleep
  7. Hard work
  8. Fruits
  9. Hard work
  10. Hard work

That’s a good starter list.

Since you want to lose fat and get stronger, your diet is going to be need to be spot on. If you’re losing fat, you’re not going to be taking in enough calories to recovery and gain strength optimally, so smart calorie manipulation and macronutrient timing is going to be very important. In addition, your training needs to be suited for your goals, as well (duh.) Provided all this is covered, I would recommend…

1)Flameout
2)Low Carb Metabolic Drive
3)Creatine
4)Surge
5)Additional Fish Oil
6)Branched Chain Amino Acids

This is a shout to T-Nation people…I think you should package deals for stuff…“the starter kit” idea is good…have Surge, Flameout, and creatine

Thanks for all the help guys. The hard work isn’t the problem.

No, it hasn’t. Though both foods contain phytoestrogens, the lignans (particular class of plant estrogen) in flax seed oil haven’t come under fire for the reason that they haven’t demonstrated danger comparable to the isoflavones (class of plant estrogen) in soy. While genistein and dazidein have demonstrated endocrinological damage, flax is still cool. I can vouch, I drink it nightly, with relish. Soy, however, I avoid like rape.

Nice analogy jerkwad, and dantheman has a good idea about starter kits etc.
