If Only We Were All This Gifted

Anyone else seen this? Being that gifted plus the work ethic, man this kid will be special.

That kid is un-be-fucking-lievable!

If he’s already that good at this age and continues to improve, imagine what his skills would be as an adult.

Great talent

but first thing that sprang up for me is that he is a another potential casualty of early specialisation

video wont load for me any other links?

I hope that kid doesn’t burn out, like a lot of child athletes, he’ll be fucking amazing as an adult.

I agree with you Wayland. I hope this kid does more then just basketball to improve his overall athleticism. He already does track, but maybe doing some soccer for footwork, tennis for agility, maybe even football for power. Just get exposed to more things.

well fuck me sideways…

Reminds me of the toddler with freakish strength… It’s super-human.

I hope he’s doing good in school. I didn’t hear the reporters mention anything about good grades, honor roll or maybe perfect attendance.

The kid has talent and good work ethics that I just hope it carries on to his academics.

Exactly what I was thinking. I hope his dad has the sense to encourage him as much in academics as athletics. Kid has crazy abilities but it would be a shame if he grew up to be an athletic idiot.

I don’t know whats more impressive a kid that practices one thing for 4 hours a night at age 11, or an 11 year old that runs a 4 minute mile.

How pissed off will he be if when he gets to 21 he is only 5 foot tall!

Very clever kid though cool!

LOL. Thats what I was thinking.

I wonder what doctors are predicting his height to be as an adult.

Maybe his dad couldn’t make it to the pros and now wants his kid to make up for his loss.

Doesn’t anyone else think it’s rediculous that he trains for 4 hrs a day though?

Seriously. 1 hr would be enough to be one of the best kids of his age. 2 would be optimal.

4 is just rediculous.

The dad reckons he doesn’t push him. I don’t believe that for a second.

I don’t think the kid realises he’s being pushed, but he’d be expected to perform. No doubt there.

A sub 5 mile is pretty damn amazing for an 11 year old

The kid is amazing, I can’t knock him at all.

I would like to know, why is he a hero? More political BS if you ask me.

Seems to me he’d basically just be iverson then. or maybe spud webb, was that his name? regardless, the skills would still be there

I also love that we’re applying our own over-reading of these buzz words to this kids situation. Playing other sports? Sure, that would be great, if he wanted to, but I doubt that it’s hurting him if he’s not. Soccer for footwork? Did you see the clip where he dribbles through traffic and scores, or the next clip where he takes it coast to coast? His footwork is fine.

And shaking our heads at an 11 year old doing something constructive for 4 hours a day? Have we lost our minds? Jeez, there is way more to this than over training. The fact that he has somethign that keeps his attention, and focuses his energies in a positive outlet for 4 hours a day is fantastic. Heck of a lot better than sitting in front of xbox or just ahnging out on the streets.

I’d like to know his GPA.

I bet he’ll be playing football in ten years.

4hrs a day is excessive dude. Do you do anything for 4 hours a day apart from work and sleep?

Only if you really, really love it.
