Chimera - I KNOW! Especially when you know it’s all good for you!

nlmain - pics or it didn’t happen! =D sounds delicious! You can cook for me any time… thanks in advance for your commitment!

RBlue - I used 4 whole eggs… but I have to pull out the white squiggly shit that’s attached to the yolk… so it prob ended up being 3.5 eggs…

Umm… yeah I am obsessed with him! He is a DOLLLLLLLL! Good birth control for now too! =D

Hahah I am surprised you can remember all the random places you have slept ;D

ahahhahahah I made a funny! I heart CBear!

Training went well on Wednesday… I am working on driving my knees out using my sleepy glutes when I am squatting… it’s working OK… but I am using 85 freaking lbs right now… SO ANNOYING!
Everything else is coming along well though… my form is improving like crazy!

INteresting thing about my ankles though… my massage therapist actually believes that my mobility is lacking because of my bone structure… not necessarily tight muscles… she was trying to bend my foot back (toes toward my shin) and she said that it was bone blocking it… not tight tissue…

SO… I will have to have er try it, then I will do the mobilization Bill Hartman showed me (which shifts the tibia forward and the fibula back) and have her try it again and see what she says… =D

OK… gotta go worky-work more! =-D

Oh yeah… and skye asked me about intermittent fasting/feeding in her thread… so here is my response to her that I copied and pasted here:

OK… I have to be honest… I am not fully read-up on how everything with the intermittent fasting works… but from what I understand, when you go into a fasted state, your body actually responds by INCREASING it’s ability to absorb/utilize nutrients, because it’s not expecting to get much food anytime soon… so it has to be ready to REALLY USE anything it might ingest all the while tapping into stored fat reserves for energy/nutrients. So when you DO eat, the hormones in your body are optimized to make sure that you get as much nutrition as possible from what you are eating.

Also, the body is constantly moving from a catabolic to anabolic state and back… it’s just how it works. We CAN’T be anabolic all the time. But because there is a negative feedback loop… (catabolic leading to anabolic and vice versa) if you “pull the pendulum back REALLY FAR” in one direction (i.e. send your body into a catabolic state) then when you feed again, your body goes back into a VERY ANABOLIC state… HOWEVER, let me clarify… JUST BECAUSE you are in a catabolic state, doesn’t necessarily mean that you are losing muscle tissue… it just means that the state that your body is in LENDS ITSELF to that potentially happening, and JUST BECAUSE you are in an anabolic state, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you are BUILDING muscle tissue… many other conditions/factors come into play. So… if you allow yourself to go into a catabolic state, while taking a small amount of amino acids to minimize muscle loss, and THEN have a large feeding and dump a bunch of food and nutrients into your body when your hormones are primed for uptake/utilization, coupled with a body where you have damaged muscle fibers during your workouts, then your body’s immediate response is to be in a VERY ANABOLIC state… but at this point, all the other factors are in place to actually BUILD MUSCLE during this very anabolic state… make sense? =D

I hope so… and like I said… this is my very crude understanding at this point… I am still reading and doing more research on it… =D

I’ve come to that conclusion about my own ankles. I can’t pull them back far at all, but the resistance is definitely bone structure. My other joints are actually a bit too lax (my knees bend back a bit, and so forth) so I actually don’t think it’s down to tight muscles and tendons (though my calves are very tight).

Nice to hear your form is improving (I don’t see how it could have got much better, from the vids I’ve seen!), and here’s hoping you get to move some bigger weights soon!

Very interesting stuff re: intermittent fasting. Thanks for posting that!

Cal - hmmm… I am going to see MR again in a couple of weeks… maybe he will come to the same conclusion as my massage therapist. Kinda disappointing though! =-/

RBlue - you’re welcome… yes it’s very interesting. I can’t wait to read more! =D

Had a great weekend this weekend… worked a bunch, hung out with my nephew who has started calling me “Mo Mo” which is so cute! He is only 2 but he already has the BEST sense of humor… he has started looking at me and shrugging his shoulders and saying, “Mo mo?!?” as if to say, “where is Momo?” And I will put my hands on my hips and look at him and say, “SILLY BOY! You KNOW where Momo is!!” and he just cracks up forever and then does it like 50 more times! and sometimes he points to himself and calls himself Momo and then starts laughing hysterically… he is just a doll!

The rest of my weekend went: food, sleep, alone time with the boyfriend ;D, nap, more food, 3 episodes of “Breaking Bad”, a few wicked games of FreeCell =D, yummy Mexican food, some tanning, and then the housecleaners came… Ahhhh!!! LOVE IT!

Today is some fasting with 2 different rounds of juiced veggies, a bunch of errands, a workout tonight, a HUGE HUGE dinner with the BF after my day of fasting, and then bed EARLY tonight hopefully!

Will update on the workout a little later!

PEACE OUT!

HIya Momo! (sorry couldn’t help it)
That weekend sounds just about perfect.

Hi Molly! How is the tanning going?

nlmain - I know! It’s just adorable! I might have to take a video of it next time! =D

Kimba - tanning is awesome! I am not getting quite as much color as I’d hoped… BUT I am used to more extreme tanning (i.e. burning)… so far I haven’t burned once… (however the little “bagel” of chub right around my belly button keeps getting more pink than the rest of my body… pretty funny actually)…

But yeah… my mood has improved… my skin is softer, clearer, brighter and feels like it retaining more moisture (however, that could be a consequence of warmer weather)… so overall I am VERY happy! I think that it will take another month or two until I am 100% pleased with my skin tone/tan/color… but I sure am enjoying the other benefits in the meantime!

Oh yeah… you read were my vitamin D levels are optimal now, right? YAY! Have another check-up with my Doc on Wednesday… can’t wait to see what she says! =D

Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend! And your nephew is adorable!

i know that you know what im thinking.

and i wont do it. nor will i say it.

i’ll support you and love you no matter what, you crazy woman.

goin to ironhouse?

Molly, just curious…with the tanning, are you still taking 2,000IUs(was it this much?) vitamin D, or no?

RBlue - yes it was amazing! thanks… I am in love with him!

Bear - bout what? The intermittent fasting? Yeah… I know what you thinkin’ homie! =D
When is the Ironhouse? I would like to go… but maybe gotta work! you?

Skye - no ma’am! I was taking 2,000 IU’s 2x per day (4,000 total)… however any time I wasn’t feeling well I would take 16,000-20,000 for 2-3 days at a time (but I knew my levels were super low… so it was safe to take that much for me)… So stick to 4,000 a day unless you know that you have super low levels… =D

Molly, I’m super glad that tanning system is working for you. Although I liked my spray-on tan for the short time that I had it, I couldn’t imagine keeping that up.

I am SO looking forward to my back deck opening up for some sun action next month (if I’m lucky and the weather continues to improve at its current rate). I plan on starting out with five minutes of sun, and increase by 5 minutes a day until I get to an hour. An hour of unprotected sun a few times per week is all I’ll do. And never on my face – that’s what bronzer is for!

Are you intermittent fasting now? What sort of fasting periods are we talking here?

Oh no, no…I was just curious to know if you decreased you vit D intake since you were tanning.
But if I recall correctly, it’s a spray tan system as opposed to a tanning bed, right?
