If Gas Were Below $1 Again

Hypothetical… If someone were to run for office that you don’t align yourself with, but it was guaranteed (nothing crazy to get it done, just possible) that for his entire term gas would be below $1 again, would you vote for said person?

Of course.
Everything would be cheaper.
I could get a classic caprice again.
Hell take away the term limits.

Depends on a whole lot more than $1 a gallon gas.

I meantt to imply as well that this would be the president one is voting for.

You could go with scenrio of our current options. Just assume in this example who ever you dislike the most in this election could get it done, would you vote for them?

That’s easy then. Since I am on the fence in regards the two current candidates, yes that person would have my vote.

Would that mean releasing benzine in the water ? Or well water catching on fire ?

Does this require easing regulations on those that drill oil ?

Let’s say no downside whatso ever to get the price that low, nothing good nor nothing bad…

No, because such a “guarantee” would be so dumb and impossible that the candidate would disqualify himself from consideration.

Wish I could get petrol for £1 a litre or gas as you lot prefer.

again, let’s suspend reality and assume it would happen

Here’s Herman Cain’s plan to get gas down to 36 cents a gallon.

Where do I sign up. I do think it would be foolish to do away with sustainable energy programs

I have to say bullshit to Herman’s program . You can not buy bottled water for that price

you would have to suspend reality , you never get something for nothing

I would just assume he’s a lying sack of shit like the rest of them.

One Euro for one liter would sound awesome…

The only way that would ever be possible would be massive subsidies as oil is sold on the global market and the available resources are increasingly hard-to-find or difficult to bring up in sufficient quantities compared to light sweet crude. such a promise would be idiotic.

Incidentally petrol is the highest it’s ever been here, as high as March ($2.10/litre, roughly $9 an American imperial gallon) even though the price of oil is $15 lower than its peak in March. It’s just so obviously gouging.
