Ideas for Program Based Almost Entirely on Clusters

So with Thibs cluster articles out and all. Has anyone run a program based almost entirely on clusters? was thinking of taking two or three compound exercises and just doing the 2 sets of clusters he recommends in his last article. I think i’m type 1a or 1b and like low volume.

Have been doing something like this.

Have you guys seen “PITT FORCE” reps. Basically disjointed singles with a 12-15RM, shooting for 20 reps.

I actually wrote such an article (program based on clusters) and it was submitted last week. They have a few of my articles, so not sure where it is in the publishing queue though.

You’ve been on a roll recently!

I changed my waking time to 4am. Jayden wakes up at 7:30 so that gives me 3:30h focused solely on creative work and program design.

Prior to that I would have to write on the rare periods where I’m not training, coaching or taking care of Jayden.

I hear you. If I actually want to think - I have to do it before the rest of the world surrounds me as well.

The Pitt force training seems Interesting! Seems more for hypertrophy rather than strength though. I notice i struggle with the 4th -6th rep on clusters though when using 88-90% of my max. I definitely feel like i need the 4 min break tween cluster sets. I would have to use some seriously lighter weight to get to 15-20 reps especially when just taking 5-10 secs tween reps in the beginning of sets.
