Ideal Breakfast?

I don’t, but it’s an individual thing. Caffeine tends to hang out in my system longer than for some people.

Even though I certainly didn’t mind doing a nice bong hit (or two) or a nice gram (or five) of shrooms when I was in university (and never had a problem with those) my room-mates once had to rush me to the hospital after I drank three cups of coffee one night (studying)…I am possibly the only person in history to have experienced a bad trip on Folgers!

4 omega-3 eggs
1 large piece of fruit (or 1.5 cup berries)
1 slice Ezekiel bread
40g protein shake (Metabolic Drive or Grow! Whey)

70g of protein, 50g of carbs, and 30g of fat

It does vary however, depending on the day, or if training is early in the day, etc.

1 roasted medium sized chicken
3 cups of Broccoli
2 tbspn extra virgin olive oil
3 Slices Wholemeal Toast
2 Oranges
Cup of coffee with full fat milk/honey
HOT-ROX
Flameout

Yummy!

I usually have a scoop of whey, banana, 3/4 cup of oats, 1/2 C frozen blue berries.

Would do some eggs if I had a kitchen. Maybe next year …

I drink coffee after I eat everything else. Not for any reason though. Sometimes a cup or 2 of green tea too.

the OJ (eat oranges)

Tuna (too much mercury)

avoiding tuna for mercury isn’t something I would be too concerned with unless you’re doing over a can a day.

if pregnancy is an issue, maybe, other wise, I don’t see people dropping dead from eating too much tuna, lol

I’ll eat a couple of cans a day, but read somewhere that using the ‘chunk’ tuna will greatly reduce chances of any large amounts of mercury due to the fish in eahc can coming from multiple sources (different fish)

S

I have one of two things.

The first is 5 Omega-3 enriched eggs, and a glass or two of orange juice. On weekends I’ll scramble the eggs, on weekdays I boil them the day before.

The second choice I have is a bowl of GoLean Crunch.

2 servings, with 2 cups of milk adds up to about 34 grams of protein, 16 grams of fiber, and 12.5 grams of soy protein.

1 cup of oatmeal
1/2 cup skim milk
2 whole eggs

or

3 egg omelet
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 cup cheese
2 slices of ham
and then sometimes veggies

I need my coffee fix.

Here’s a good/fun breakfast:
-3 eggs
-large corn/wheat tortilla
-chopped tomato, onion, jalapeno pepper
-low fat cheddar cheese
-salsa & avocado

Saute the veggies and make an omelet. Cut omelet into large strips and fill tortilla. Top with cheese, salsa and avocado.

Mine works good, nice and easy to make, yet tasty

-2 Cups rolled oats
-2 tbs ground flax
-2 tbs finely ground coffee grounds, i like the flavor type. French vanilla is good !!

 • cinnamon

I also drink 8oz vanilla soymilk to wash it down.

I use the micro so it takes around 8 min or so to make depending on what thickness you like. Very good, i use it as my breakfast/post workout meal

Wake up , pound some Grow! Whey down , wait 15 minutes …then…

4 Whole Eggs
2 Egg Whites
1 Slice of Wheat Bread
Cup of milk/orange juice.

Breakfast of champions:

1 cup oatmeal
.75 cup of 2% milk
2 tbps milled flax seed
1 scoop Grow!
1 scoop Metabolic Drive low carb chocolate
handful mixed frozen berries

and:

3 scrambled eggs
1 turkey sausage link
.5 cups of 2% milk
3 second pour of egg whites

and:

1 banana or 1 apple

and:

a shitload of fishoil and a multivitamin that actually dissolves

I challenge you to be hungry within 3 hours after that.

Omalet with:
Mixed veggies
(red and green peppers and some onion)
4 whole eggs
2T natural unsweetended (no HFCS or sugar) salsa

1 medium cantaloupe
2 T peanutbutter
I eat these together. Sounds odd, but peanutbutter tastes good with everything. :stuck_out_tongue:

3 fish oil tabs

1 teaspoon espresso
1 packet splenda

That’s what I’ve been doing for the past week, roughly.

If I’m out and about I’ll just have
2 scoops whey
1 oz. mixed nuts (just pick 20 pieces/halves)
50g carbohydrate from fruit
3 fish oil tabs

I’m thinking about trying some protein pancakes in the near future. . . Anyone tried em’ before? Good recipes?

Upon waking: 1 scp whey

Cooking time…

then:
4 whole eggs
1 banana
steamed broccoli
sometimes I’ll add a 1/2C of raisins if I’m still hungry.

How do you stomach so much broccoli?
I have a big stomach? Also I try to have my biggest meal in the mornings.

a bowl of kellogs frosties

what are thoughts on partitioning?

I’ve been experimenting lately with deviating from my normal breakfast, which is like

4 eggs scrambled +
2 oz smoked salmon and onion/or 1oz pepperjack cheese
1 tbs ketchup

1 cup oatmeal w/milk and blueberries or peach

lately I’ve tried cutting the eggs and just taking in egg whites w/salmon or Metabolic Drive protein + milk w/ oatmeal or total cereal and LOTS of fruit for a more carb oriented breakfast. I think it’s been fueling my lifting better but I’m not 100% sure.

I’m worried I get sluggish with the huge eggs+carb breakfasts, I don’t really know much about the C+F partitioning stuff except a little I’ve read on here, and I’m not sure how it applies to me as I train long strength sessions and drink a lot of Surge

breakfast is always great anyway. highlight of many days

6-8 Egg beaters
1 slice mozzarella cheese
1 slice bread with PB
1 Cup Oatmeal
small spinach salad W/ Walnuts
2 cups of coffee

If i have any leftover from the weekend, ill eat a big fat piece of skirt steak (flank) with the eggs, its a great way to start the week.

After that I typically feel like im going to explode and dont know if i can strap my boots on and head to work…I dont know how you guys eat like 3 pounds of food.

MarvelGirl posted this recipe over in the Muscle Sorority:
Protein pancakes
1 scoop protein powder (I use vanilla)
1/2 cup applesauce or one of those little tubs.
4 egg whites.

Mix it all up and cook it just like you would pancakes. This makes about 6 small to medium size pancakes.

They’re a little spongier than regular pancakes but surprisingly good.
I haven’t tried them myself, but I have some vanilla protein powder on the way so I’ll be trying them soon.

2-3 omega 3 eggs
half a cup of egg whites
approx 2 cups of frozen spinach cubes
tomatoes
(all scrambled up)
topped with organic salsa & light Parmesan cheese
2 turkey sausage links or 4 strips of turkey bacon
1 TBSP of Udo’s Oil Blend
small orange or grapefruit

or

2 talapia fish fillets
a cup of green beans, sometimes with some green peas
1 TBSP of Udo’s Oil Blend
1 omega 3 egg (sometimes)
small orange or grapefruit
