IANKINGS superSTRENTH + Benchpress on THURSDAY!

Hey hows it going! I have a question, I’ll give you some info about myself first, I’ve been working out for 6 months, I started on IAN kings Mens Health Workout, I Got AMAZING Results… I gained so much weight etc… I am 6’2, 18 years old, 185 pounds, and eating like a friggen horse, I am not fat, but not skinny, I am in between… Ok now that you have my life story, I’ll ask the question… I am not fallowing IAN kings workout posted at : (Just started this week) Strength Training, Bodybuilding & Online Supplement Store - T NATION

The workout focuses on chest.. My goal is to get a nice chest, big, and formed... the chest workout is preformed on MONDAY, I was wondering as an extra, just to get an edge if I should DO bench press/A back exercise as an extra on thursday.. I workout MONDAY WEDNESDAY FRIDAY.. SO is that enough recoup time or is that not enough, Will I over train... I am going for size, so I'm thinking on friday, do 6 sets of about 8 or 9.. 1 warmup set..

I think it is a bad idea. The super strenght program already, by Ian’s admission, an unbalanced program that favors pushing over pulling. You would be increasing the imbalance further. The program as it is is great. Don’t kill the goose that laid the golden egg, as Ian always says.

Stick to the program as he gives it, it rocks!
