Hey, so I am doing a self administered TRT / low dose test protocol, I also use HCG each week in order to maintain fertility.
I’m going to be travelling and don’t want to take any compounds through the airports since I don’t have any prescription.
The test is fine on a longer ester for a week away, but I’m wondering what will be best to do with my HCG. Bigger dose before I go? Just missing 1-2 doses won’t be any problem? Any ideas.
Maintaining fertility for the future is a big priority so wondering what would be the best way to manage the trip.
Just because you’re on hCG, doesn’t automatically mean you’re fertile to the point where you’ll be able to get someone pregnant.
Taking a bigger dose of hCG doesn’t help, the half-life is still 24-36 hours, which brings me to my next point. Dosing hCG once weekly has it’s problems, it’s cleared out of your system is less than 2 days.
Yes absolutely, just to clarify - normally I will be taking HCG at minimum 3 times per week, if not more frequently. I’m just trying to think of a workaround for when I am travelling and without it.
This. It’s no big deal. Just miss them and continue your protocol. Pay attention to what @systemlord stated about the drug window and as you will need to pin HCG several times a week when you resume.
I went on a two week cruise while prescribed HCG. I simply didn’t take it because it requires refrigeration. I simply didn’t use it. My wife was pregnant a few months later.
I highly doubt you’re going to screw up a plan for having a kid because you skipped a week.
Why don’t you have a prescription if you don’t mind me asking?
No prescription because all the TRT clinics in the UK here seem to go very strictly based on only prescribing if your levels are super low and fit a set range, mine were not quite low enough so decided to do it myself. HCG dose is 875iu per week.
