Well my advice would be to just follow the lifting program as written. Try to progress in weight in all of your lifts during the duration of your program, you should push for progress every single session.

Then my guidelines for habits outside the gym would be to Drink a lot of water (I shoot for a gallon a day). Structure your meals intelligently (Think protein source first, usually eggs or meat like Chicken, Steak, Salmon, Trout, Ground Beef, Bison, etc. then carb source like a baked potato or cup of steamed rice, and finally fruits and vegetables: blueberries, kiwi fruit, Star fruit, peppers, carrots, asparagus, etc.). Limit fried foods and sugary junk food like candy and cookies. Try to get 10,000 steps in a day. Always try to get 8 hours of sleep a night. Good sleep hygiene is vital to recovery, muscle growth and a fast metabolism. As far as additional supplements go, as a beginner you don’t really need to be too exhaustive, but creatine, whey protein powder and an Omega 3 supplement rich in EPA/DHA will be quite useful to you in any phase. Also, since you’re following Arnold’s program, I would suggest watching the film Pumping Iron to further motivate you.

I can’t offer much for help with your testosterone cycle, but I would suggest you do so under doctor supervision. That part is up to you though, I’m not your mom and I’m not going to nag you about it.

I’m glad you’re hear and trying to make improvements. Keep us updated on your journey and feel free to ask any questions. I’ll be happy to follow up with you and help you out any way that I can.

Start by setting yourself some realistic goals. First, cut down the fat. Yeah you may end up at 160lbs but so what! You’ll look and feel much better. After you’ve lost the fat, work on building the muscle.

Stop the steroids. You will just make yourself a bigger fatter version without learning the basics of training and nutrition first.

Any training program you can stick with is good. There are thousands out there. I like Jim Stoppini’s short cut to size. Its a free pdf program you can google. Do you have any plans for cardio or LISS to help burn the excess fat?
