Life news: Got accepted into college and last night I scheduled my classes. Going to be a physical therapist assistant! Just gotta take care of financial aid and I’m good to go!
Also, no-shave-November is going pretty well. The beard gives a good carryover to pressing so we’ll see how it goes.

Worked a roofing job yesterday. Had to get up at 4 and rive a couple hours back home, then worked til 4:30 hung out at the house for awhile before heading back to college town. Got here at like 10:30 long ass day but I made $100 cash!

Pretty much going to use the Dorian Yates approach to assistance work. 2 warm up sets and one really tough work set. Doing a lot of volume kicks my ass. Maybe less is more for me?
If it feels good, then keep doing it that way. If you feel a little beat up from doing both after deadlifts, then you could always move good mornings to squat day.

I did a 135 front squat. Certainly not ground breaking, but its nice to have that flexibility and mobility back in my hip. Woo hoo!
It takes a half hour to warm up, but I feel better and am making progress.
Tonight I sign up for the meet on the 8th. Going to compete at 132. Deadlift only 330, 374, 385
After the meet I am doing a russian squat program to give my elbows a break. I feel all ate up and feels worse every week. Time to unwind and stretch for a bit. Need some holiday R

I am psyched for my meet the 8th! Decided I am going for 385 on my 3rd pull.
After the meet I am going to focus on squats and clean and jerk 3x a week with a lot of pull ups, dips, and ab work. Cardio will be farmer’s walks and biking/swimming.
It’ll be hard to swallow my ego and not deadlift, but I need to do this and get my shit straight.
Haha no Fort Leonard Wood was my hell. 8 weeks of training, broken leg in 3 places, 4 months of labor with no contact to the outside world. No mail, calls, nothing. I had 1 friend that whole time. Good shit.
