Well, you Vikings were never known for your grasp of numbers.

However, you guys pretty much wrote the book on ship building, homesteading, and raping and pillaging!
i.e. the Book of Fun!
yeah, we weren’t real good bout reading either -
Would’ve helped if Odin wasn’t such a drunkard and wrote all the letters out correctly!

Here’s your name (Edgy) spelled out in Runes:

I’m taking this to Edgy’s thread.

I have a thread?

No worries though…his picture ain’t real, which means he ain’t real.

Defiantley no one who says their working on a book could spell as bad as he does.

Your a troll RV we know it.

I’ve already proven that my avatar is my pic. thats been proven. How many guys are going to take a pic with TNation on a sign. but yet, that wasn’t good enough. lol

But both of those pics looked the same. We want something better.

Especially if you’re going to call us all Japanese.

What other powers do you have RV? I was planning on pitting you against Kaiser Ghidorah in my next feature film but I’m not sure how you would handle such an enemy.

Any suggestions?

and please don’t say you’d wrassle it. Far too much photoshop required for that. :frowning:

edit: actually, wrassling wouldn’t be too difficult but it would look cheap and tacky and I was kinda going for that authentic early Japanese look, so what’ll it be - wrasslin, firebreathing (a classic that one) or coffin-beam eyes?

RV called us Japanese?

I must’ve missed that.

Pretty sure that you didn’t have “T-Nation” on the sign, you had ‘test’, which could mean anything (testing, testing, 1,2,3…) Besides, if it’s been “proven”, then why do so many people still not believe you… surely you could take a ‘normal’ pic instead of your unlit/I’m crowding my webcam ones (if you don’t have any photos laying around from ANY POINT in your life, like most people do) and shut everyone up already.

Agreed!
And don’t say you don’t like taking photos as you are using a photo of yourself right now as your avatar.
And you seem to think highly enough of your physique that you refer to the rest of us as Japanese to your Godzilla.

For the record, and I feel I must state this and get it out in the open now while we’re on the subject, I believe that the pic is really RV.

I was one of the first to doubt it’s authenticity publicly (last year in a SAMA thread) when I went to make a gif of RV and discovered the avatar he used was called ‘daves_pic’. It occurred to me that was odd; most normal people wouldn’t take a pic of themselves and then name it with their own name. At least I’ve never done that. I would call it ‘mypic’ or ‘chest’ or ‘headshot’ or just even leave it with the digital filename generated for it by the camera.

Someone then popped into the thread, said they went to his gym and met the guy in the pic who claimed to have never even heard of the name RogueVampire or T-Nation, and thus the great debate began.

However, months later RV comes up with a new pic taken with a new camera (still shit lighting mind you) holding a piece of paper that says ‘test.nation’ (someone correct me if I’m wrong, it was a while ago). That, to me, proves that he is telling the truth or he somehow got Dave to pose for him lol.

I seriously doubt the later.

That’s my take on it at least.

Do you remember who the poster was? I didn’t follow the SAMA thread but I’ve heard so many variations of that story that I don’t believe it ever happened. People talk about somebody making inquiries but it seems nobody ever came forward to verify it or take credit.

I heard another version that the guy in the pic was who he claimed to be. When I brought it up on RV’s interview thread he said that nobody visited the gym, but contacted the owner via FB (that too has yet to be verified by the poster).

The instigator of this rumor is very backward in coming forward.

Nah can’t remember his name offhand but give me a few minutes and I’ll dig up the thread.

Maybe he shared a camera with someone and had to label the files on the memory card?

Pretty sure the paper read “test.net”, which he said he’d post after several people asked him to post something with writing. Why he’d choose “test.net” makes absolutely no sense. Everything he’s done is on his terms and he refuses to accept even the simplest of requests. Bottom line: He’s not who he pretends to be.

Maybe Count, maybe. There could have been a number of reasons for it however when I made my suspicions known he changed the name of the pic, called me a liar and acted like I was insane to even suggest it. This led me to poke the bear a little more. Yes he could’ve been just wanting to protect his first name, but given that he was pretty much inviting people to come to his gym and chat with him - I thought it unlikely at the time. I actually told him that my name was Dave too just to break the ice a little and get him to soften up. :stuck_out_tongue:

However, as I said, he posted another one so I’m pretty convinced now that it’s him.

Here was the original thread and pages where all this transpired. It was quite an epic thread actually and had absolutely nothing to do with Plentyoffish as the name might suggest. :stuck_out_tongue:
