Weighted dips and SLDLs for 4 sets of 6 with 3mins between sets. Next week will be 6 sets of 4 on my main movements with heavier loads (or less assistance inbthe case of the pull ups) and an extra min between sets.

The day after my last post I did something to my outer left hip at work (slipped on the ice bringing a delivery in), hip hinging is causing pain. So, no deadlifts a while. Thankfully front loaded squats are causing no pain. So switching to upper lower.

Must say, my Hatfield squat handles have come in handy in other ways, I switched the straight pull up bar to the rear and brought the back crossbar to the front. Now I’ve adjustable Neutral grip handles. Also raised my rack up on half foot blocks so my feet don’t touch the floor…6’4 first world problems lol…

I have to put bumper plates on the floor when I bench so my feet can touch. :rofl: 5’4" problems.

This hip injury has been playing up, have been giving it some thought as to how to work around the issue. Something John Little said years ago came to mind…that is ”dont lift weights, contract your muscles against resistance”. So i went to the gym yesterday to use pendulum hip press in isometric style. It can be set to not lockout at different points. I used the 30/30/30 timed static contraction in the mid position.

Today I can barely walk lol. Also did the bodymasters single leg curl and Icarian calf sled.
