    Went outside for some air after leg extensions, where my breakfast came up lol. But went back in and did some prowler pushes aswell. Felt feel fine an hour later, got some bacon, eggs and pancakes down the hatch. Low stress workout tomorrow.

This used to happen to me a lot on leg days. Owner of the gym I was going to back then used to give me a bucket when I walked in the gym on a Thursday. Lucking the squat rack was next to the fire exit door.

Thanks bam, yeah my strength is going up reasonably well…bodyweight has remained the same. I very briefly was following a program of an Australian powerlifter, but to be honest, I’ve never once in 33 years of training followed anyone elses one size fits all programs. I dropped it…it was quickly leading to begin overtrained.

Stong work here, noticed on the bench video your legs moving around at bottom of movement. You’ve likely got more there with a locked in core, hips etc?

Absolutely, yes thank you. I noticed after i was doing the riverdance lol didnt even realise i was doing it at the time. I should have put a plate under my feet for better stability, i prefer to have them back further and to be more up on the toes to create a little more arch. With the 3 herniated discs i have in my lower back my mobility isnt great. But still, thanks those are good points. I do need more core work for sure. Cheers

Ma big mate colin joined me and Hols today. This guy never ceases to amaze me. Col 3 years ago benched 190kg for a double in my home gym, this was less than a year after suffering cancer and getting chemo.
Unfortunately, the cancer came back and he had to undergo more treatment last year. But this was him this morning, benching 160kg for a triple (after 140kg for 10) and machine pressing 80kg per arm. Col is also autistic…but this is one guy youll never hear or see pull the victim card, he’s zero time for self pity. Always feel better for seeing him!!

Yes mate, alls good up this end thanks lol. Just been working away, went back to what i used to do before getting into property development 8 years ago, managing a couple of independent butcher stores…pretty decent money, lots of banter and best of all…20% discount of all products…its been sirloin or ribeye every night lol.

Things are ok down here. Work is a little stressful right now but I am managing ot alright. It’s school holidays so at least I don’t have too much kids stuff going on.

Training has been going ok, been doing mostly Hypertrophy stuff for the beginning of the year, but now just switched back to getting stronger again. Feels great to be doing less reps :joy:

    Still doing the riverdance with the feet, its a bad habit. Need to plant them. Been working on tempo benches and spoto presses for variation. Seems to be paying off.
  • Isometric bench holds
    Worked up till 210kg for 15 seconds.

Training just 3 days per week at the moment, id rather have 3 productive workouts per week than 6 mediocre ones.
