I don’t know if it was all the old posts about the NAAFA or if it is all the recent criticism but I have had it. The NO CARB diet attacks. What is the deal. There is all this talk about how bad they are and people are filing suit against their doctor. It is just like anything else you have to know what you are doing. One day someone hears about the low carb or the keto diet, and they are like that is for me, I am going to lose 40 pounds in a month. So, one day they just decide to do it and they go from eating 3000 calories probably all crap at that to 500-1000 calories. Like they are going to count calories. All they know is that they are supposed to eat small meals consisting of protien and no carbs. They end up going on a diet that makes the Fat Fast diet look like a bulking cycle. And they will do it without regard to time periods. They just want to lose the weight now. That is like getting a bunch of steroids and just shooting away without any insight into diet, maintenance, injection sites, etc. If you don’t know what you are doing, anything can be dangerous. There is always that group of idiots that makes things bad. Like the lady that got 3 million from McDonalds for a cup of coffee. Of course it is hot. Of course there are exceptions. I read a post on here the other day about a guy that can’t go on a restricted diet. It happens, but don’t sue anyone and go around bashing what you know little about. I bet if we all remember back when we didn’t workout, or didn’t eat right, and didn’t have food logs, and didn’t have t-mag and the forum, I bet everyones eating habits were crap. Part of the reason we got into the Iron Game, to be better. But in those days I would eat about 1500 cals a day and they were in like 2 meals. Lunch and dinner. And the content was probably crap. The point is that you can put the human body through a lot but there are limitations and guidlines, so learn what they are a play within these boundaries. I could go on for hours about this, but I won’t. I’m out!
