Well I did not even know men could get cellulite, but I have accomplished this feat in less than a month. On December 5th I had thought I tore my meniscus, and there was a great amount of swelling for a week and I could not ambulate on two legs fully for a couple of weeks. However, I have finally received the MRI results, and there seems to be no tear. I just recently began bike riding and will start PT on Thursday. During this time though I have been lifting consistently with solely upper body exercises, and have cut calories some, not drastically, but enough to maintain the muscle mass on my upper body.
However, I have started to get cottage cheese looking on my ass and just below my ass on the most proximal parts of my hamstrings. My plan is, once I am able, to do alot of lunges and sprints to get rid of this, since I may not be able to do heavy squats or deadlifts for awhile. (Until I gain full strength back and can fully extend and weight bear comfortably)
On another note, what the hell causes cellulite anyways? Is it just fat? I mean, my ass has gotten smaller during this time, but I assume I just lost muscle back there, and the fat is more visible.
