been a couple of threads about this already… Post your diet and people will probably be able to give you better advice

I think he wants to know if there’s any secret tricks to not eat sweets? It basically comes down to willpower. The more you resist, the better you get. As far as when your at home, make sure there’s no crap in your house. If craving arises, just eat anything else until your full. When out or at work, you need restraint. We don’t don’t know your stats or goals. Are you fat, ripped, skinny twig? You leaning out, bulking , going for strength or hypertrophy? You’ll get better strategies from people in the same boat as you.

make a slap bet  or any other form of punishment to associate fear with sweets

You will begin to develop an appreciation for other ‘sweets’ the longer you stay away from the more processed varieties. If you can rely on your willpower - and the realization you’re not giving up anything of worth when turning down a piece of cake - after a while you’ll be satisfied with something like a bowl of vanilla flavored yogurt and a handful of mixed berries.

Something that cuts down on sugar cravings with me is adequate amounts of protein and fat in my diet. I’ve noticed when I don’t get enough protein early on I’ll start to crave something sweet later in the day. I then kill it with a mix of whey and casein.

Try planning your meals so you can remove the option of eating sweets or anything not fitting your program.

I ONLY buy what I’m supposed to eat, which doesn’t include any sugar besides fruit juice. The longer you don’t eat sweets, the less you want them. It is also much more rewarding when you do eat them, because it tastes better than any sweet you have ever had.

In the end, it comes down to willpower like others have mentioned.

Vitamin deficiencies can sometimes manifest as cravings.

Are you taking a good quality multivitamin/mineral?

very true.

cakes and cookies and chocolate fudge are still great don’t get me wrong, but a crisp apple/fresh kiwi/plug-in-your-favorite-fresh-fruit creates a different kind of satisfaction.

Yer I agree. I chop up some apple and add some blueberries into my oats most mornings, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Beats any apple and cinnamon pie/strudel Ive ever had.

Good to know, I also have a terrible sweet tooth.

try dissolving a teaspoon of glutamine and/or glycine in water and downing it. supposed to help with carb cravings.

also if you are constantly having carb cravings, increase your total protein and fiber intake. that should help the blood sugar and help with cravings

literally can’t stop eating candy

You my friend are going to have to give yourself a 30-day challenge and go cold turkey. If you haven’t kicked the habit in 4 weeks, you probably never will. lol

Try gum, it will give you that sugar kick, but keep the calories low (or none).

Brush your teeth also, it helps.

Just eat all the sweet shit you want and go running.

If you have a craving, have some mint tea.

Awesome and cheap dessert: McDonalds apples pie with a sundae on the side. Put the ice cream on the apple pie.

This doesn’t really help your problem but now you know another sweet and delicious thing to eat.

This is all fine and dandy, but you want the best solution?

Google and/or Youtube “Skiploading.”

It works. Seriously.

Skip also has an incredible track record. I subscribe to the system myself. It is so goddamn money.

The only “drawback” being that after 4-6 hours of it, you will NOT have a hankering for any kind of sweets again! …until at least a day or two before the next Skipload.

I am in your head, motherfucker.
