UpScale- yeah, and eating is my strength…NOT! hence the 180lb BW… But we’ll make it through.
Cav- YUP!!! I am bastardizing DJ’s 2 day a week program which he got from Pavol and tweaked…I am tweaking it to include a 3rd day of of walks, swings, and general stuff plus I am going to use the rep scheme (2,3,5) progression from the program I just finished and use it on squats and bench…workouts should be tough but there will be plenty of rest days so we’ll see how we go…a few posts back you can see what it looks like.
6 weeks finishing with bench max test and squat max test…
friend form the gym got into working out to try and put on weight to help with his chronesp?. just followed a basic program another guy set him up with. started eating alot more. in a year and a half he went from 128 at about 5’9 to 175. he became one of those freaks that LOVE squating. he hates the classic newbie workout of “chest and arms” lol bis repping ability is out of this world. he started squatting 225 for reps once he got his max around 345. he got 15 his first time. 2 weeks later 25 reps. and after 2 months he got 54! at 175… he squats to a box set at 11 inches. every rep looks like the first untill about 45.
i spooted him for a max, he did 385 for a ginder, then squatted 365 for 5. his strength endurance is aweosme, i keep telling him to try training for a triathlon to see how he does.
