Make no mistake, this notion of tax breaks for the wealthy is not limited to a single political party.

California is handing out tax incentives like candy, as the film industry is down to it’s lowest point ever. NYC now surpasses California in filming.

The show Breaking Bad is supposed to take place in Riverside CA (about 100 miles east of LA). But it’s actually cheaper to film the show in Albuquerque. How pathetic is that ?!

Film permits for porn are down 90%, which is a huge part of the economy for the state. California also lost the Tesla battery factory deal to Nevada, which will add 6500 jobs. It was Republican Senator Ted Gaines who fought to keep them here, but no dice. Toyota left CA for Texas. Sony Pictures Imageworks moved it’s HQ from Los Angeles to Canada.

If you tax them, they will leave. And if you live by a “tax the rich” mantra, you’re fucked if they leave.

I don’t know if I misunderstand your post or not but Breaking Bad’s story as shown was about Albuquerque .

The longer I do this board the more I feel a consumption tax is the way to go .

No tax for water ,food and electricity everything that comes into America or is consumed in America is taxed at the wholesale level
Pitt, what is one thing wealthy people often do that the poor, working class, and a lot of the middle class do not?

Answer: Save money.

Instead we (poor, working, & middle class) like to buy things. Cars, big screen TVs, clothes, etc… Adding a consumption tax will increase the tax burden on the vast majority of consumers. The 1% would love your plan.
Most wealthy are not so because they are frugal , that is the exception rather than the norm . Most that I know have all the trappings of the wealthy to the point of fault .

I personally indulge my self on occasions and should be taxed rater than the person that is just buying the necessities

Standard Deduction is $6,200, $9,100, and $12,400. Which means…

Not one single person with a functioning brain cell will entertain your drivel.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I’m out.

I’ll save people who don’t know any better, but I don’t have the energy to entertain your trolling/stupidity.
well tell me again how there is no disparity in the tax code , maybe they will buy that drivel

Forgive me for not trusting your power of observation seeing as you failed to observe where the million and billionaires fit into the tax chart I posted/linked.

The rich live below their means from everything I’ve read and observed.

Dear CJS , I know it is out of your ability to think outside the box . but if you tax all the products at the wholesale level all the manufacturers will have to pay taxes . That includes all the people packing their bags for foreign shores . All those Chinese, Indian and List of the largest trading partners of the United States - Wikipedia. Big boon to American tax coffers and to American Corporations . No more tax  I know econ 101 does not discuss that

next subject will be Beans is the biggest troll on this board . He loves to spread mis and dis information . I will lay out a good case why i should troll beans into oblivion

Here you go Pitt. More bipartisan love for ya.

Democratic Rep bitching about Obamacare doubling his insurance costs.

He must be racist.
