Is it just me? I don’t even wear a coat anymore. Does anyone else experience this in the winter too?
I’m the same way. I lived in northern Minnesota for a few years and never owned a coat.
Ditto that. My friends all think I’m insane. It’s the training.
I go to school at 6:50 and yesterday morning it was 40 degrees out side and raining and I just wore shorts and a T shirt

Give him a break. He’s from Florida. They wine about the temperature being in the 60’s.
Personally, I can’t stand the cold. I’ve been wanting to move to Arizona, but my job needs me in upstate NY right now. This year hasn’t been bad at all for us though.
Close to -20 and the heat gets ripped from your face so fast it hurts.
jit07, how cold are you talking here, that you don’t really feel cold (and anyone else who says they don’t get cold)?
I mean, if it’s below 0 outside, I can’t imagine anyone staying out there for over 20 minutes in shorts and a t-shirt and not feeling cold.
I just want to say, I’ve lived most my life in southern california, I now live in north, and I hate you all… in a jealous way. First time i’ve lived in a place that gets below 40, absolutely hate it.

WTF kind of New Englander are you, ya wuss…
I usually only wear jackets so people DON’T think I’m nuts. Actually, I usually only wear a jacket when I’m at work in the colder months.
I live in Canada. You Yankees don’t know what cold is ;).

No kidding! Try 40 below celcius (equals -40 F). 20 years of that will drive someone nuts.
I got outta Edmonton, AB and came to Vancouver cuz I like to walk around in a t-shirt in January while everyone thinks I’m crazy.
No! I’m almost sweating you ijiots.
I was up in banff ice climbing end of november (thanksgiving) and that was definately the coldest I’ve ever been. It was so cold the Canadians weren’t climbing.

What part of Ontario? Southern Ontario would be part of the states if not for the water dividing line. After all, Port huron is north of Windsor.
As you put on mass, I think you tend to get hot far easier. And if you sweat very easily as I do (even in winter if I have to walk more than 10 minutes), it becomes a huge pain in the ass. Of course you could be morbidly obese and sweat a lot, but that’s different.
I once asked CT about this since he apparently couldn’t take the San DIego heat and he said it’s often associated with higher T levels so it’s not all bad.
I used to freeze my ass off now I’m usually sweating in 50-60 degree weather. I think its the working out combined with the drinking of green tea/coffee, faster metabolisms, eating alot of protein, and simply being more muscular than others.
Im sweating shirtless right now and its 60 degrees insisde my house.

Jeans and a long-sleeve shirt for single digits with negative wind chill for anything less than an hour. Less than ten minutes and I won’t even bother with shoes I’ll just slip sandals on. And being (more) comfortable at 20 below doesn’t mean you don’t have to prevent frostbite and windburn (at least in my case).
However, as somebody else pointed out, I get uncomfortable and start melting just standing around if it’s in the upper seventies.
My dad is like this. He doesn’t wear a coat ever and usually wears shorts year round. I’m not quite that bad but I definitely handle the cold better than I can handle the heat.

BWAH HA HA HA HA HA!!! You are insane. When I got to work this morning it was 4. Without the wind chill. I hate it.
I like it when my nose hairs freeze up instantly when I go outside. You just don’t get that feeling where I live now. But I was skiing in VT last week and it was -10 F. Throw in the wind speed when you’re going downhill and it’s f-ing cold. My beard was ice, literally. But I still made my runs.
Did I mention I was naked except for the boot sock over my man junk?

I always laugh when places from the southern US go ape nuts when they get their “ice storm of the century” and it’s all over the news. Piddly little 6" of ice or snow and 10 degrees out and suddenly people start dying from it.
Suddenly they can’t drive worth shit anymore with just a little ice on the roads and start having massive pile-ups. And most of the time they end up closing down the entire state.
Bunch of pussies…
