Snowmobiling on a quiet trail, no one around with only the sounds of the wind when you stop. If you haven’t snowmobiled in Michigan’s UP, you haven’t lived.
Any other cold weather lovers here?

summer ftw
By the end of summer I’m dying for cold weather, by the end of winter I’m dying for warm weather. The grass is always greener…
I’m a Michigander…love the spring/summer seasons. and fall cuz that just means jeans, hoodie and football. i get sick of winter but for some reason i love those snowstorms that are so bad that you’re just stuck and can’t go anywhere.
the worst is the michigan drivers though. it’s like some people have lived here for years but for some reason when the snow hits for the first time every year, everyone just forgets how to drive. accidents everywhere and a long haul no matter your destination.
I miss it, When I lived in Oh.I spent as much time in winter, nature as I did in the summer.

Yeah the UP has some banger snowstorms. Visiting up there, a younger guy told me how the whole senior high school class was called out to dig out the hospital. The hospital was buried!
I like the eastern end of the UP more, less developed and fewer people.
I love 4 seasons. There is nothing more peaceful than being in the middle of a meadow at night with big snowflakes coming down and it’s 0 degrees.
Nothing gets my spirit going like the first really nice day of spring with all of the flowering trees out and the daffodils and tulips in full bloom.
Nothing is more relaxing than lying in the warm sun after just getting out of the water after a refreshing swim.
Nothing is more satisfying than a hike in the mountains on a crisp fall day where you reach a mountain summit, sit down on a rock, take out your lunch and water and look out over all of the colorful fall foliage. Then get back home in time to catch the football game.

I love some cold weather, we dont get any here in Los Angeles. Its a joke for winter here, like 60 degrees is cold here.

I love the Fall, but Winter’s nice, too. I’m not a fan of the heat and humidity.
no, what kind of retarded question is that?

This statement is an oxymoron.
I love snowboarding and snowshoeing deep into the mountains. The beauty and quiet peacefulness can’t be beat. But I hate the cold.
This winter’s snow hasn’t quite left my front yard yet, and I’m already starting to miss it. I’m going to have to start heading higher into the mountains to get my snow fix. With a little luck and some hiking, I ought to be skiing to through the middle of May - even though the local ski hill closed last week.
So yeah, I love cold weather. And I hate summer. Even around here it’s too hot for my taste.
na dawg i hate the winter. when it’s dark when you go to school, and dark when you go home, thats depressing.
I love it.
In summer, you can’t get cool enough, but in winter you can put on a heater or another jacket.
Another fan of cold weather here.
For me, summer means sweating like a pig all day long. In the winter, when everyone else is freezing, I feel best. I sleep better, have more energy and the cold doesn’t bother me at all. I haven’t worn a coat or a jacket once the entire season, a sweater at the most.
Summer has its positive aspects as well, but when you spend most of your time working, training, sleeping or stuck in traffic, they become less relevant, at least for me.

Yup. I need the seasons, and I definitely can’t stand too much heat, but I’m usually ready for summer by the time February and March roll around.
I absolutely adore the cold. If it’s not under 30F, I’m miserable. I remember when I lived in California I’d get super excited when it got down to 50. Now that I’m in Montana, I feel the same way when it gets to -20.
Yes I love cold weather.
