I Don't Gain Weight

Alright, will do. For the suggestion of the shake in the locker… would it be better as casein or whey? Otherwise it all sounds do-able.

You are seriously sweating the small details and losing sight of the bigger picture: you don’t need to optimize your supplementing, you need to eat properly.

Here’s an idea of what I ate today (a non-training day):

Breakfast
1 bowl of oatmeal, bran, raisins, sliced banana
Apple
1 cup coffee

Second Breakfast
1 bowl of whole wheat pasta with 2 cups broccoli, carrots, spinach
1 whole egg
4 oz Wild Salmon
2 chicken breasts

Lunch
1 bowl of brown rice
2 oz beef with spinach, broccoli, celery
2 whole eggs
Protein shake

Second Lunch
1 bowl whole wheat pasta with mixed vegetables
1 can of tuna
1 cup coffee

Dinner
2 slices of whole grain, multigrain bread and two tbspn of natural peanut butter
Plain yogurt
1/2 cup whole milk
Protein shake
FISH OIL

I’m burning fat at such a pace people are commenting on my weight loss, but at least I’m healthy and still getting stronger. I’m definitely putting on lean mass right now. The key is rest, minimization of stress - I literally have a zero stress job, and working my ass off in the gym.

What I do now is prepare 3 of my meals at home and tupperware it up. I got fat very quickly when I was lifting in college from making microwave “meals”, frequent trips to Taco Bell and the late night on-campus haunts. I got stronger, but looked and felt like shit. That’s all changed now, and I’ll never make that mistake again. You should steer clear of fast food and work on establishing a strict diet.

Take home point: Nutrient sources are key. Quantity is not enough.

Jesus Christ, I’m only 16, I’m not a “master of the grill” and I’m not made of money, so I can’t have steak or chicken every night.

Believe it or not, chicken breasts are cheaper than hot pockets. Its not hard to put some chicken on the skillet in the kitchen. I’m in college and I do it every night.

Yeah, cooking chicken is a lot easier than people think. I recommend getting one of those electric grills, they are about $25, just put chicken on there and its done in 4 minutes.

In your case dude, I’d go with the Metabolic Drive Complete, blend of both, but more slow acting proteins, which will help fill you up more.

yeah Metabolic Drive works very well, also get 100% whey protein and add that on top of your meals. i suggest 2 servings on top of every meal, it will almost make u chuck but thats a good thing :P,

also you might wanna wake up and have 6 egg whites like i do every morning its been working great. Last december i was 68kg skinny kid now im a healthy 87kg with some body fat which ill work on later…

peace oscar

Thanks for all the ideas and replies. I’m trying to work this out.

i am 21, i live alone, im 20 grand in debt, i cook all my own food.

i NEVER buy anything at a fast food joint, or from a vending machine. i cook all my meals on sunday, then eat them throughout the day

i work part time as well as go to class and i still eat healthier than you

and i spend almost 300 bucks a month on groceries, whey, vitamins, oils, and creatine.

know how i afford it?

NO bar hopping, NO movies, NO cellphone, i wear all my clothes 2, 3 ,4 times, i buy nothing except pay rent, and food, and internet.

in the summer when i didn’t have a free bus pass from the school i would run to my classes, 8k.

honestly, the things worth having the most are the hardest to acheive, but when it all boils down to it you CAN make sacrifices.

the tools are out there to learn how to cook, manage your time, spend money on food instead of fancy new sneakers, eat big, lift hard, you can do it.[/quote]

damn man no cell phone??!?!?! you need to work on other things before working out imo

Definitely words to live by my friend. I respect your lifestyle.

Amen.
