oh man i’ve been doing gads of hip mobility stuff and tons of deep squats with my arms overhead all morning. i’m walkin funny and feel like i’ve been rode hard and put away wet. haha
ha ha. That was funny. I’m totally stealing that line.
Well, I’ve always been impressed with how athletic equestrians are. You’d think it’s just sitting on a horse, but my friend who’s serious about riding has really strong legs.

… but you weren’t talking about that, I know.
First fiance was into riding and showing horses… had a few lessons myself, and i could not BELIEVE how sore my thighs were the next day. I wanna find an equestrian and test their newb squat and dl max’s, just bc im curious.
deja we’re gonna keep going off on our own tangents for as long as ur not here.
Heh I used to ride during my teens - you get used to the inner thigh soreness. Stopped when I went to university and became a poor student. Then I discovered men. And computer games.
I got back on a horse about 10 years later, when I got the chance of a free ride while on a business trip. Wasn’t the thighs that killed but the back. All those years of slumping in a computer chair had taken away any ability to support myself. Ended up having to have ultrasound on it.
Same thing happened about another 6 or 8 years down the line when a friend took me out riding. Killer back (didn’t need physio that time but damn it ached for days).
Quite scary how fast you lose the discipline of sitting up straight. Anyway, I have rambled.
mah old lady has been riding since she came out of the womb. and since she can easily choke me out with her thighs it must of done some good. =+)
have had the nutrition super dialed in the last couple days. man i feel so freakin good when i’m eating right and workin out. it’s awesome. i love the “lean feeling” and the idea of leaning out more. especially with that spring sun comin!
my foam roller finally showed up. and a couple mini bands. yay! no excuses now. i’ve been doing hip mobility stuff daily and am already seeing a definite difference. i can’t believe i’ve put this shit off for so long.

we’re going to a friends for tonights game (go texas!) and i’m sure that will involve lots of booze and shenanigans. woo hoo.
sled dragging, you lucky biatch! enjoy your foam roller and keep up that mobility work.
your benching…nice job. i’m so un-motivated to go post my silly wrkout from last night. it is what it is…
and nice job on your clean eats. i hear you on that…amazing even what a few solid days of clean eats and wrkouts does for me mentally. meaning i ‘feel’ leaner in just a few days…
been keeping up with the foam rolling, mobility work on off days.
really getting focused on eating right. didn’t have a single beer during playoffs yesterday and probably won’t today either.
my goal is to finally get rid of my wink (what i call that pouch of fat below the belly button) and my love handles. i’ve still never been comfortable enough to walk around in a sports bra or bikini top and i really want to be able to. especially for conditioning stuff outside.
it’s been awhile since i’ve been in the squat rack. i guarantee i’ll be hobbling like a grandma in about 6 hours. boo.
i’m pretty fucking frustrated with my squats. but it is the first week of form focus. i just need to put in the work and i’ll make progress on that damn forward lean. it’s odd because even 85 lbs in the low bar position on my back immediately makes my entire body feel like a bag of assholes. but the 105 in high bar for the step ups feels great. i’m gonna do heavyish walk outs in low bar position on upper days at the end of my workout. maybe that’ll help. shrug.
FF-D1

naw. i’m not a very confident person… and i’d never sport that bulge under the belly button or the big meaty loveys out and about with a bikini. shit right now i wouldn’t even wear a shirt that was hella fitted around my love handles. puke.
tho oddly enough i have no qualms about my legs. i’ll wear the daisiest of dukes anywhere. even despite the fact that i have a bit of dimples and some girl jigglin under mah butt.
