Ok, I just start Ian kings SUPER strength, I am just starting on the 2nd week, Seeing how I was in a rush to get into the gym, I was totally stupid and didn’t fallow ian kings load precedures, not to load up like nuts in the first and 2nd week… I followed everything else good, but I missed that part… Is this going to effect my entire efficeincy, or is alright I did that?
I don’t think you’ve ruined everything. Don’t sweat it. Maybe back off the weight a little during week 2 (so that you can go a little heavier in week 3) & really concentrate on tempo & form. There’s a whole lot of method to King’s madness. Re-read his instructions carefully, say “yes, sir,” & do it. My tuppence; maybe someone can advise you better.
while i don’t feel i’m qualified to answer the specifics of this (though i thought t- revs idea sounded good), i’d say don’t sweat it so much. just pick yourself up off the ground and carry on, and try to stick more to it next time you train. you still pushed weights right? heck, thats more than 99% of the population did that day. the fact is that if you’re really committed to building the physique you want (and it sounds like you are), then you’re probably in this game for years, or even decades to come. one minor mistake in a ‘career’ of workouts isn’t going to make a difference. i am not suggesting that you shouldn’t try your best, or that you should skip workouts, or cheat on your diet. but i am saying that you should chill out, don’t let it get to you, let it distract you from your next workout, or, heaven forbid lead you to abandon the program altogether. remember that hard core - truly hard core - is not how many heavy sets of bicep curls you do in a every- three- weeks- always- got- an- excuse- not- to-train workout, but that you’re there day in, day out, making real progress. since i started to see the big picture, i’ve been more focused, more disciplined and growing faster than ever before. bottom line - relax, get it next time.
