Yeah. I’m not a tough guy but I’ve told off more than one person who thought they owned the street in front of their homes.

It’s a private street, I do own it.

Techinally you dont. Try not paying your property tax, you’ll find out who really owns it pretty quickly.
The same is true of any property but I’m pretty sure if someone parks on my patio I can have their vehicle removed.

Is your patio built over top of the road in front of your house? If not, I’m having trouble seeing the relevance of your statement.
In general, if there’s a specific reason you don’t want them to park in front of your house, like, say it impedes your ability to get into your driveway or it takes space that you expect a friend or family member to use at some point, then no, you’re not an ass hole.
Also, if they park in front of your house when there’s plenty of space elsewhere for them to park, then that makes THEM ass holes.
Now, if you just don’t want them to park there because you’re a nazi about the road in front of your house and there’s nowhere else for them to park, then in my book, yes, you are a complete ass hole.
But maybe I’m just an ass hole for being honest.
It is in relation to his statement that I will no longer own it if I fail pay the taxes. This is true of any property, including the property my patio is built on. Does not give anyone a RIGHT to park on private property, which includes private roads.
For the record I could not give two shits if someone parks in front of my house if there is a reason for them to be there, although it is a narrow dead end road and the neighbors lawn care guy has a tendency to make pulling in and out of my difficult. In fact I was such an asshole that I politely asked him to pull his rig forward so I could back into my drive like I normally do. You know what that asshole did? He said sure no problem and pulled up.
