I’ll hit assistance work tomorrow.started feeling beat up after benching so I just kept it light. I need to do a little bit more 80-85% work. Shoulder held up pretty well until the end of the workout. It didn’t hurt it was just really fatigued and I didn’t feel like pushing it. Squats and gunz are on the menu for tomorrow.

gainz. but low bar is feeling a lot better now that i figured out how to stay kind of upright. i think i’m still going to stick with a higher bar position on wrapped squats. I get pitched too far forward and just feel really awkward. the 405 set wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. had at least 2 reps in the tank. If I get my squat up to 500 my total won’t be total crap for a 165/181 er. which would be pretty cool.
i went hard on my upper back. I think if i get more size on it, my squats will feel a lot more comfortable. and i just want a massive back. every super strong powerlifter I meet has a disgustingly huge back. Like the first time I met Ryan Celli, he turned around to do something and I just had a “dat back tho” moment. also the vacation cut has begun. Hoping to not be full man bear mode on the beach.

When I hit 365, I had previously hit 325 x 5 in the weeks leading up. So. Id agree.

squats were solid. gotta a little forward on the first rep and that threw me off for the rest. I really need to get used to holding heavier weights on squats. Moved my belt higher and it’s really helping. so is low bar hahah. fronts were pretty easy. just gonna push it up every session and see how that goes. my front rack is awkward though, I think I need to do some mobility work for it. some heavier volume benching tomorrow.
