Hypertrophy

Hey this is my first post to ask as I can’t get the search function to work at all so bear with me.

Basically, I had a free personal trainer session a few months back and he taught me a routine based on muscle hypertrophy that involved me doing sets of 10 reps on a lower weight with a very small break between sets.

I’ve only just found the time to get back into a decent routine so I was just wondering if I’m on the right lines with this sort of thing for muscle growth. It’s definitely getting me aching for a few days after so I see that as a good thing…

Since I’m not a stuckup asshole like the rest of the site, I did you the favor of pointing out a beginner article.

You can follow it or not, but describing a routine by the rep count isn’t going to help anyone identify your training.
