I do see your point. My main question is, why does it seem like the money Americans pay in taxes is continuously used to help other countries and foreigners illegally coming into this country?
They say that but are that posting the documentation stating it? I would easily believe that people applied and were complaining about how long the process is taking but to be getting denied so soon after applying sounds fishy.
I don’t trust an article that claims to be giving an honest assessment but ends with a political message. Every natural disaster has the same federal government is doing their job message. And there is always someone who claims their team did it better.
That’s possible, but just not what they’re saying. And yep lots of things sound fishy. We agree there.
Lobbies and capitalism. If people honestly believe we are giving money away without someone profiting on the back end, they haven’t been paying attention. Besides, we aren’t giving Lebanon 157 million in cash. It’s the total value of the aid which I would assume are things like food and medical supplies. And who did we pay for those supplies? Or should I say overpay? It’s like when we give a nation military supplies worth, say a billion dollars. We gave them supplies we paid American suppliers to provide.
Wow, I hadn’t seen it explained this well, so thank you.
Actually, I have seen a meme or two explain it pretty well, but not this detailed. ![]()
No, they are not. People don’t post good experiences or when things work as they are supposed to. They only post when things go wrong. It’s marketing/PR/Business 101. You are only hearing from folks who have had things go wrong, not all the people who had it work as it is supposed to.
That, combined with your obvious right of center bias means your social media algorithm only shows you posts that further confirm your bias.
Does this mean that what these people are saying is invalid?
If your algorithm is different, I’d love to see the good news. Drop it here. Show us the stories of everything working as it’s supposed to. I mean that with sincerity, not sarcasm. It would be good to see the positive stuff too.
That is the metric that should be tracked. The government doesn’t need to publicly pat themselves on the back. Those bums have worn out “mostly.” A successful business or manufacturer is tracking defects or defective output. They focus on process improvement to minimize defects. They don’t publicize successes.
What do you think the Z-score is for FEMA in their performance in the aftermath of Helene? I would be surprised if their Z-score is above zero.
I think the good news is tucked away behind the suffering. The people that show up and do the helping. They’re the good news and affirmation of the resilience and good nature of humanity.
On the other side, we have politicians. ![]()
LOL… imagine posting that non ironically. Libs have ZERO self-awareness. ZEROOOOOOO
Anxiously awaiting his / hims reply… The weakling suck-up apologists simply carry water for this abysmal administration and their failures
I’m in Tampa and live on a salt water canal. Some of our neighborhoods have been devestated and yes there is another pro ported direct hit coming our way.
Well, hope you evacuate
good luck to ya
Got a brother in sarasota, i am in stuart so its not a big deal over here
Especially if the eye of Milton makes landfall just north of Tampa.
If it tracks to hit direct or north I have to evacuate. We had almost 7’ of surge last storm. The street in front of my house looked like my canal out back. Luckily my house is one of the highest built up in the neighborhood.
The stats for meals served by FEMA, and people housed by FEMA are easily available to find.
You should use some critical thinking when taking a few random videos confirming your viewpoint on social media… especially when they blame the democratic candidate for POTUS in the video title.
You’ve been doing what you’re told without thinking your whole adult life. Why start thinking for yourself now? Just repeat the faux news/trump narrative as gods truth.
Right… cuz nobody ever finger points in politics
