Just injected for time .3ml subq with UGL test cyp. Used a 27G half inch needle. 4 days later I have a huge rock hard lump. It’s not itchy and not hot to the touch but was painful for the first 48 hours. Pain is starting to go down but is still there. I wiped vile and area with alcohol swab before injecting but still wanting to know if this is something I should be worried about? No fevers. How long will this take to heal?
Prob too much oil. It will go down but it take time. Either switch to IM or use half that amount in one spot.
It will go away. It’s normal, I inject .5ml subq often (despite the advice not to) and try to massage it in post injection but it doesn’t always work.
I also rotate sites - IM, Sub Q, SubQ, IM, etc… I avoid IM other than glutes, so rotating with subq helps.
I kind of like the bump - its easy to tell the last site so you can pick a new one.
I inject .4 twice a week into quads subq. Alternating each time. Lump goes away after a few days. I’ll massage it in shower or do some sort of quad exercise. Not sure if it helps, but I do it anyways. Regardless, my doc didn’t seem concerned when I brought it since there was no negative symptoms.
It’s normal. I get it too. However, it only itches/burns a bit for an hour or so and it’s pretty mild. I don’t think much of it these days. Goes away after a day or so, sometimes longer. Sometimes I get a bruise and that last a few days. But again, it doesn’t bother me. Everyone will be different, either more or less sensitive to it. I’ve injected a whole ml and still not a big deal. So, experiment with different locations, or even try the shallow IM injection a lot of guys do. Sadly, there isn’t an exact protocol, just gotta try and find what works for you.
I inject subq into my lower abs so it looks like I have them.
Got a vein in my glute a few days ago, bled pretty good, big knot/Charlie horse too.
With the smaller insulin syringes, make sure you inject slowly.
I jstarted TRT last week. My schedule is 0.3 mL twice per week of test cyp (200 mg/mL), pharm grade. I’m starting off subQ. I heeded my providers words and took at least 30 seconds to inject. No lumps, stinging/burning. That’s my small bit of experience. Go slow(er)? Worries about the quality of UGL is main reason I decided to go to a TRT clinic. Best of luck.
its not bc its UGL. I had it happen from TRT clinic. Even About the same .34 ml - the sub worked fine until I think I hit the same area 6 days later and it swelled up to the size of a 2.5x golf ball. I now will only do IM
