Sore, Red Bump after First Test E SubQ Injection

I injected my first ever test E dose on Monday. I opted for subQ, to the left of my belly button. This morning, I woke up with a red bump that’s sore at the injection site. Is this normal? A couple of reasons why I think it may be sore after investigating possible causes:

-Pinched my skin too tightly
-Wasn’t quite at a 45 degree angle
-Injected too quickly
-Didn’t warm the dose before injecting

Test E: Beligas Pharma 300mg/ml (Splitting this up, at 150mg, twice weekly)
Syringe/needle: 30G/0.5in insulin needle

That concentration is getting to the point of higher pip. You also injected subq with too much oil. It will go down but i would suggest smaller amounts more often if you are going subq or go IM with 1/2ml 2 times per week.

Understood, thank you for responding. Would you advise 0.25ml EOD?

I think that would be the max i’d inject subq. Maybe even .15ml. Might wanna look into a lower concentration as well if the pain/redness persist.
IMO you should switch to IM unless you have a reason not to.

Thanks. Is it a bad idea to use these 30G/0.5in insulin needles that I have for IM?

If you are lean and hit your delts it would prob work but anywhere else I would use 1" needles.

I think 1/2 inch anywhere between 30-27g is the move. In terms of PIP I have seen big differences on brand, injection site and SOP. Do some research on the tips and tricks. Currently injecting 0.5ml of 125mg of test E twice a week. Working fine.

Are you also injecting subq in the belly?

Glutes

For SQ, yep. Esp with UGL product that may be over-filled (so to speak) with solvents.

Thanks. Going to inject delts with my .5in needle from here on out

Older thread, but I got same reaction for Beligas test E, 0.3ml subq as well. I also got some PIP for about 3 days from IM. Seems to be par for the course with this sauce.

I ended up going ventro glute IM for the rest of the vial. Literally zero redness/PIP/anything

Ty for the reply, I will try ventro glute for my next pin.

I also using 23G 1” needles so they’re not tiny. No pain at all

For anyone else who may find this useful…

Pinning ventro glute along with heating up the oil resulted in very little pip. 29g, 1/2", 0.5cc total.

Long time lurker. New member. Been on other forums for 10+ years. 12 yrs with gear. Never injected sub q until last week. Got a massive hard red lump now. Ended up going to urgent care and got amoxicillin. Doesn’t seem to be working. Injected monster test e 300 1 cc with insulin pin. And idea what I should do? Or just ride it out

Ya, Thats probably too much oil to be taken at one time Sub Q. The lumps are for the most par a normal part of Sub Q when injecting bigger doses of oil. Split your dose up and inject multiple time per week should help.
As for your last injection? Just ride it out.

Beligas Pharma Test E 300mg/ml… worst PIP I’ve ever had from a compound.
