today was “back day” which in “heavythrower-es” means: “chins” with some other bullshit cuz you dont give a fuck.
still nursing the tore muscle in my right forearm…so I stuck with body weight for reps…but the new chinning station at the commerical gym I go to every so often has a set up that is so comfortable on my joints and feels like buttah, I WILL hit a weighted chin PR soon on this…100lb for 5 maybe?
back in the real world, anhoo, bw chins 5x10 all with pause at top, used various grips and handles.

on the brighter side…did not feel the right forearm injury at all.

wow, today was another good day for me in the front squat.

belt and knee sleeves for all sets. my quads were burning, and I had giant rope veins popping all over my legs, to the point where this young chick who I know from work(she works in housekeeping in my department) notices and says to me:
