Total deload today. My shoulders suck. Going to work on shoulders for 60 days. Just BS crap so I won’t bore anyone with the numbers. Mostly accessory crap. A great weekend to all. Train hard and be happy.

i dropped the box height about 2 inches( i know, i know, i said i would NOT ever do this again cuz when i tried before my tore meniscus acted up) but, i widened my stance, and on video the rom was actually about the same or even less than before, so knee is good, and i feel more hips and glutes getting work.

Your deadlifts are looking great HT. And for having a bad elbow the military press is still looking good.
thanks eco, bad elbow is an understatement. for ex, with a strict overhead dumbbell extension, i can go over 60lbs with my right, and only about 10-15lbs with my left. ugh.
HT, you could still do deadlift only at a meet. I bet you could deadlift 600 after the way you killed 500x5.
500x6, dont short change me!!!lol
i know i could do well over 600…when i started the last cycle of 5-3-1 i pulled 585x1. i know i am stronger than i was then, so i think i am over 600 easy. actually i am working real hard to talk myself out of trying to max out tomorrow instead of starting the cycle over 10lbs heavier as the 5-3-1 protocol calls for.

even if i pull over 600, it wont be a pr, my pr sumo is 665, and conventional 635. i am pretty sure i am not back to those numbers yet.

Thanks, HT. Ab roller hurt my feelings. My gut(all of it) is very sore. Starting a new program this weekend and very excited(sporting wood). Heading to Texas in September and a meeting with Jimmy T and his gang. Going to be 54 next month, I won’t drop the 715 next time. Can’t wait to go to a chalk friendly place and make a fucking mess. May even puke for some real fun. The best to all, train hard and lift heavy whatever that is for you.
