Always nice to hear from you, HT. Getting older isn’t easier. I’m about 30 days from training full time again. Injuries seem to be part of this shit. I don’t post my bs workouts. they bore me so why put anyone else through it. The best to the crew. I will attempt to again reach animal status. I feel stupid buying some gear at near 54. A great weekend to all. Go to a gym near you and fuck with some folks 20 years younger than you. Works fer mee.

its true, you have scary curl strength.

wont bore the crew with my drama, but big time life changes last 72 hours. have not ate or slept much, so i approached today’s workout with little to no expectations, but to my surprise, i hit a recent pr. amazing what anger, regret and frustration will do for the body…hmmm?

I don’t think anybody in this forum believes you ever fake anything, monster man.

Taking a youngster to the black iron gym Friday. Should be a hoot. He’s going to be a freshman linebacker at Southeast Missouri State. I hope the crew had a great holiday weekend. I’ll be so happy to get back to a normal training week.

On the positive side some of the bs injuries have somewhat healed but due to the staph infection some others have came into play. Hope to hit it tomorrow.

i am as strong on the Squat and deadlift as i have been in a LONG time. thank you 5/3/1 AND MISTER WENDLER.

Today with the youngster fell apart. But I am very blessed this week with only one workout. Why, you asked I’ll tell you. I spoke with HT and QT on the phone and as usual Jimmy T and I texted each other. The only thing that could top this is working out with them followed by a buffet. A fabulous weekend to all.

I’m gonna kinda take hel’s advice and lay low for awhile. I will be working out, just not posting as I feel i won’t be doing much of anything worthwhile except to try and cut some bodyfat. If and when things change, I will be back here posting in a heartbeat! The best to all my T-Nation brothers & sisters in Iron!

thanks for posting on my thread art, i felt i had 1-2 more reps in me, but as the 5/3/1 protocol recommends, leave a rep or two in the tank, dont go to all out failure.
