Mike, it amazes me how much you can keep lifting with the injuries. Barry, I’ve alerted Texas to your impending arrival. Kinda like Godzilla entering Tokyo harbor. Art, the bench is starting to get back up there again.

Tried sumo yesterday, both floor and rack. Will post numbers after next dead workout. Hope it wasn’t a fluke. Curls after that. Looking forward to curling ez bar with 2 wheels. Maybe a Christmas present to myself.

Same thing happened to me today. My deads were weak as hell because I lifted on short rest. Busy week coming for me as well.

All I am doing for my upper body is a bunch of high rep high volume bb stuff… so until that changes, i will only post workouts that include lifts i am able to maybe get stronger on.

monday- power clean 4x6x80kg, 2x3x100kg right biceps tear still not 100% so these had to be PERFECT. all hips and upper back/traps. no pulling with arms at all.
back squats, 3x10x100kg, wanted 5x10, but ran out of gas.

Wednesday-

deadlift 230kgx6 last cycle got 230kgx5, so i guess this is an improvement, but i wanted more. however the nagging injuries/pain that i have to the back part of my upper arms(i guess the lat tie-ins?) were flairing up today. wtf?

one leg squats, 3x10, 1x20 with bodyweight plus 40lbs.

back raises 2x25

the consistent tabata’s are starting to pay off. i am staying at 240lbs, but trimming up. down to a 36-38 pants, and down to large sweats. arms are actually bigger than they have been in a while. my surgical arm is 18" cold flexed, and my non surgical arm is 18.5" cold flexed. i have visible veins in my thighs, biceps and shoulders, and my “4-pack” is showing.

and my girlfriend thinks i am looking HAWT, so i guess that is all that matters, lol.

barry’s back should have its own website/shrine/hall of fame.

Yesterday felt great. But then the bad form gods got me again. Deadlifted 505 and it was shitty and it really pissed me off. Then I found out they moved the rack I do my BS on. I hope the vid comes out cause I feel like someone beat the crap out of me. Many will say why do that but I guess I love the iron and heavy is where it’s at. I know it didn’t move very far but it moved. 2 100s,10 45s, 2 35s, I think that’s 765 after a 705. A fabulous holiday to the friends I have met here. Merry Christmas from the Missouri Mule.

I expected to work harder on these but either I miscalculated or it’s just me, but the weights I picked were too easy…I was thinking each set would be harder than it was & was waiting to fail but it never happened…toward the end, i started taking bigger jumps even & that didn’t make me work much harder either. Last set of 3 had 305 at lockout and it felt like 225, lol!

Maybe it’s an early Christmas present…Again my best to all the gang!
