HRX - Food Tastes Bad?

I’ve been on HOT-ROX Extreme for a few weeks and Ive noticed that food doesn’t taste as good anymore. I have been eating cleaner but its things like Diet Green Tea or low-cal Mayo which seems to taste worse.

Has anyone else had this reaction? I don’t want to find the very act of eating to eventually become repugnant, no matter how much weight I want to lose.

I think it’s just the fact that you’re dieting.

If you suddenly clean up your diet, unless you’re putting some effort into the cooking process, what you’re eating just isn’t going to taste as good.

Tuna is never going to taste like pizza.

Headhunter, I would think that some appetite suppression while taking HOT-ROX would be a good thing! (grin) Seriously, as soon as you stop taking HOT-ROX, I’m sure everything will return to normal. And since it’s just for a short period of time, go ahead and use HOT-ROX’s benefits to make better food choices and reduce your caloric intake slightly.

I notice zero difference in food flavoring. My steak that I pull off the Weber last night was killlller…with the grilled baked potatoes, carrots, and green peppers.

Nope…haven’t noticed any negatives on taste.

diet green tea?

low cal mayo?

I’m not on HRX, but that just doesn’t sound good… have you tried making your own green tea (you know, with leaves and water), or skipping the mayo, or using yoghurt-based sauces instead?

Personally I think most things marked “0% FAT!”, or “LOW CAL”, or “DIET” … are probably even more processed and unhealthy than the originals…

How can anyone even like mayo? What was whatever jackass who first made it thinking? “I need something really really white, sticky and wet on my sandwich”.

Undercover Brother! If you are going to blend into the white world you are going to have to like MAYONAISE!!

Well… Mayo is a useful ingredient in my tuna salad…

2 cans tuna
1 heaping tablespoon mayo
1 finely chopped onion
200gr cottage cheese

I’m currently thinking of either good mayo alternatives, or ways of making more healthy mayo (for sure the oil they use for it is the worst kind).

Other than this, I’m not a fan of it really…
