HRT & Cycling Tribex/Androsol

I was diagnosed with low T (156 ng one week and 200 the next)about 14 weeks ago. Dr put me on 150mg of Test Cypionate per week, administered at home. My scrip is for Depo Testosterone 200 mg/ml, 3/4 ml per week out of a 10 ml bottle. I’m on my second bottle and have been on tribex 6 caps twice daily. I’ve noticed some testicular size increase and more agressiveness since taking the Tribex. My question is this- would it do me any good as far as size/strength to up my Test shots to something like 300mg per week for a couple weeks and then use Tribex to supplement my “off” weeks? I need to use up my scrip at about the right time so my endocrinologist won’t get his nose out of joint. Before I started on the HRT I was feeling terrible and don’t want to return to that feeling. Some help from Bill or anyone with good knowledge of HRT would be appreciated. Thanks guys!!

It sounds to me like you’re doing great on your prescribed dose and the Tribex, and why mess with success?

I mean, this is ideal… despite the 150 mg/week which is usually substantially suppressive, you’re actually regaining testicular size, and your T levels are good. I would
not interfere with this.

Or if I did, it would
be for the sake of making really substantial
gains while accepting inhibition for a short
period… for example, using a gram a week.
This would give fast gains while inhibited
for whatever length of time, whereas the slight
increase you’re talking about would give you
the inhibition, but rather little gains to show
for it.

The 2 on / 4 off kind of approach is beneficial
ONLY if the dose is high enough to give gains during those 2 weeks that are worth the price of inhibition. The gram per week level is ideal, and the 500 mg/week level is marginally
satisfactory. The 300 mg/week level you’re talking about, especially since it’s at the
price of lower dosages during the next 4 weeks,
gives you inhibition but not gains and just
is not the way to go, in my opinion.

I think you will get great results keeping
levels smoothly right where you have them.
You won’t get to the “steroid user” level,
but you will get to the level you would achieve
with normal testosterone or even high normal.

And if you want to get to the “steroid user”
level, robbing Peter to pay Paul – using
your same 1500 mg per 10 weeks but dividing it differently – won’t do it and
would be counterproductive. You’d need to
obtain some more grams of T or another steroid
to overall get the effects associated with successful steroid use. I mean, 1.5 grams is
ten days worth, not 10 weeks worth!

Thanks Bill! I’ll stay on my prescribed dosage as far as the cypionate. I’ll probably use the tribex in a three week on/4 week off cycle. If you read this, here is one more tribex fan. I could feel the difference within the first week using tribex, no gimmick with that stuff. I want to cycle the tribex with androsol to keep the T up. I’m taking 6 caps 2x day, then 1 week off, then I’ll do two/three weeks androsol. Does that sound like a workable regimen considering I’ll stay at the 150 mg weekly inj of cypionate?

Actually, Dino, it’s a surprising and
excellent result that, having low T to
begin with, you’re regaining testicle
size with Tribex while also taking 150
mg of injected testosterone per week! The
average individual has more then 50%
suppression of natural testosterone production
with that much injected testosterone, yet
you’re presumably producing more than you
usually do, as a result of the Tribex.

Now for the person who is producing
testosterone normally in the first place,
they can suppress production for 2 weeks
with pharmaceutical steroids or with Androsol
and bounce back very quickly. We really
don’t know what happens in the case of
someone who usually has very low testosterone
without doing anything, but who, without
having done a cycle, got good results with
Tribex. Will they recover well from a
short cycle? I don’t know. There’s something
not-right with their HPTA in the first place,
which is why they had low T.

Since you had trouble with low T before,
and you’re getting great results now, I think you’ve got a good thing going and wouldn’t mess with it.

It’s kind of like,
after not having a car that runs and having to hoof it around town and
bum rides, now you’ve gotten yourself
a nice $20,000 or $30,000 car like everyone
else drives… but after having had it only
a short time, you’re wondering what it would be like to trade it in on a Ferrari!

I appreciate the desire for more, but the $20,000 or $30,000 car can do great for you,
and being new to driving, so to speak, maybe tearing around at 150 mph in the Ferrari is a risk that shouldn’t be taken. Maybe it’s better to get where you want to go at 70 mph in the well-running car you’ve got now.

To make what is probably a really lame analogy!

Hey Bill, do you ever take a day off?? You’re all over this forum from what I can tell. I sincerely appreciate the responses. Fat chance of getting this kind of info anywhere else. This kind of service is going to win over more and more guys to your outfit, and KEEP them there. I’ll keep track of my progress with tribex etc and let ya know. There are probably a lot of guys that need HRT and won’t go to their Doc or don’t have the right info to get past the ignorant Physicians out there. Talk to you later.
