One should dose for high end FT or bio-T. SHBG-T is functionally inert. If one has more SHBG, one gets more TT. Some really good TRT docs do not check TT at all. If one gets high TT levels as a result of dosing T to achieve high end FT or bio-T… so what? And one needs to achieve youthful levels of FT or bio-T. Age adjusted levels are stupid as TRT targets.
When TRT is effective, LH and FSH are expectedly and normally track to zero. If there is one guy who reacts differently, that does not deserve any air time. Bricknyce is more interested in talking about his results than posting things that can be expected to help and not confuse others.

Right. I only speak from experience and all the advice I really have offered here is, “Don’t experiment and find a competend doctor.”
I don’t intend to confuse anyone at all, and I honestly think my posts haven’t been confusing. All I do is take 10 grams of Androgel per day. I don’t have any complicated history with this stuff.

Not my experience. When I once was on 10 grams of Androgel for years on end with no problems, I knew something was wrong because over the course of several weeks, I acquired cystic acne on my back and my temper and emotionality was out of control. I’d lose my temper very quickly and even cried a few times for things that would otherwise not bother me much. I knew something was up. Lo and behold, I tested at an ABNORMAL 1,500 ng/dl. (Normal range is 300 to 1,000). Went back down to 7.5 grams and I was back to normal in DAYS.
Years on end? Couple weeks? Temper or depression? Which is it? Make up your mind.
Over emotional because of high estrogen? I understand you use no AI?
It was simply overemotionality one way or the other.
I don’t use an AI, but 1,500 isn’t a level to be at anyway. Once I came back down to about 800, all that acne and overemotionality went away. Never experience a problem since.
I don’t get why no one recognizes I experienced problems at 1,500 because it’s a supraphysiological level that shouldn’t be reached in the first place.
Just use two docs. They both know what you’re up to but don’t say anything because they want the $$$$. Most docs are money hounds, so use that. They probably have had declining patient counts too, because of the Depression. Use that.

Competent pharmacists don’t allow patients to get a hold of too much medication.
Competent docs don’t put up with this sort of shit either when they see your blood work shows you’re in a supraphysiological range consistently.
You’re assuming the docs are ethical and I’m saying that ethics doesn’t make payments on the vacation home or the daughter at Stanford. They just want the money and don’t really care if you’re above max, as long as they can’t be sued. So…just stay slightly above max.
The few docs who’d care are an historical anachronism; most are whores for big pharma.
Just pay one of 'em cash, and pay the connected pharmacist cash. They don’t care either and just want the $$$$$$$$.

What person wanting to be treated PROPERLY for a MEDICAL CONDITION would want to see a doc like that?

The doc ‘treating you properly’ is thrilled if you are just above minimum and you are not suing. Remember – all they want is the cash. If you’ll pay for minimum, well, guess what you’ll get? They have a bias to keep you low anyway – the FBI doesn’t search their offices and you can’t sue if you’re just above minimum.
You seem like a nice guy but you are very naive with regard to modern medicine. It is a BUSINESS. They want to make as much money as possible in exchange for as little value as possible. Dr. Kildare they ain’t.
All of this is from roughly 6 years experience of dealing with these whores and money grabbers.

That would suck to have those problems. Probably on an injection day I might be at that level? My last labs had me at a little over 1,200 and I feel f@#$ing fantastic. 160mg/week T Cyp Injection + AI. Labs taken 24 hrs+ after last injection.

Your village called. They’re missing you and want you back.
HEADHUNTER: My doc is one of the foremost authorities on urology and andrology and has WAY TOO MUCH to lose for engaging in unethical practices - just way too much to lose.

Some labs consider 1,200 to be uppermost limit of normal. I’m glad you and I feel good; hypogonadism can be a nightmare if untreated.
I’ll say this though. At 1500, I had the desire to work out all day. When I finished a workout and left the gym, I felt like turning around in my car and going back for more.

Burger King called. They’re pissed that you didn’t leave a few burgers for the other customers…and as for the Kiddie Meals…

Oh he’ll be ethical – he will want to keep you at just above minimum. If you suddenly go ever so slightly above max, he’ll ignore it. He knows that you’re getting extra stuff but if he eliminates your already low dose, you’ll go elsewhere and he loses the money, which to almost every doc I have ever met is God.
And for those ripping me – just try all this and see. Six years of experience, needledicks.

I had Dr visit yesterday and she refilled my script; the pharmacy rounded it up to 1ML/Week (200mg week). So that is temping and 1500 would be easily obtainable… lol but… I’m good at 1200 ! (REAL good)
