Ok, this diet may have too many carbs for what I’m going for. I’m looking to add about 15-20 pounds of lean muscle mass and get down to about 5% bodyfat. Currently I’m still pretty high in body fat, probably around 10%, and I am pretty built. Im 6’5" and I weight 194lbs. I work out twice a day for about an hour and 15 minutes each workout (I’m doing the “Arnold” routine). Here’s the diet I came up with:
–Wake-up–
3 BCAA’s
–Workout 1–
sip 1 scoop of Surge while working out.
–Post Workout 1–
3 BCAA’s
protein shake
Some type of fruit.
–Lunch–
3eggs or can of tuna
some type of vegatable
low fat cottage cheese and fat free plain yogurt
Multi-vitamin plus some other vitamins.
–Pre Workout 2–
3 BCAA’s
3 REZ-V
–Workout 2–
sip 1 scoop of Surge while workout out.
–Post Workout 2–
3 BCAA’s
protein shake
–Dinner–
Chicken or eggs or some other lean meat.
Some type of vegetable.
1 glass of milk.
–Post Dinner–
Some type of fruit.
–Pre Bed–
3 ZMA’s
3 BCAA’s
All I need to know is if there are gonna be too many carbs in that for cutting. Cuz if there is then I will cut out the milk and yogurt and replace it with a little more protein of some kind.

How are you expecting to do this simultaneously?
You should concentrate on eating more and gaining muscle mass before thinking about cutting. 10% is high? I think you may have this wrong. If you are a competitive BBer training for a show, then, yes. Otherwise, just concentrate on gaining.
No disrespect, but at that height you are at least 60 pounds away from being considered “built.”

Why did you choose this plan? I don’t think you will be getting optimum results from this. You should look into Westside or something geared towards compound lifts.
Also, how long have you been training seriously? How old are you?
As for your diet: The first thing that jumps out is that you need breakfast and eat more overall. Seriously, you are 6’5" and that is tall; you should bulk until you are broke.

I’d say cut the workouts down to one a day, less than that preferably. There’s this thing called recovery, you need to look into it.
That diet looks way too low in calories to make any kind of reasonable gains. [/quote]
Carbon-12, I know its weird but I’m telling you I’m still really muscular. When I go into the gym I’m one of the biggest guys in there, and there are some guys who have bulging shiznit in there (I really don’t mean to sound full of myself or anything). I constantly get compliments about how big I’ve gotten now, and I know how weird it is but when I get on the scale it says 194. And I’ve tried on multiple scales. You see I used to be extremely fat, so maybe I have really low bodyfat but there is still some loose skin or something like that (I was just estimating my body fat percentage above), a while ago I used to have bad loose skin, but I did a buncha cardio and it went away.

I’m sorry, but I’m going to have to agree. At 6’5, I dont see how you can be ‘really muscular’.
And whose complaining youre too big?

Take this to heart, its probably the best advice youre going to get. Along with MORE FOOD in general.
I remember a great article on here where they asked a few T-Nation’s contributors what they would do to get a movie star in “muscular” shape.
Almost all of them talked about getting the guys bodyfat down really low so he would LOOK more muscular than he actually is.
Being skinny, yes you can look very muscular. And i imagine…as everyone else has…at that height you are very lean and ripped.
Simply being able to see every muscle doesn’t mean you are big and built.
(i’m 5’9" and i weigh about 200…and i don’t consider myself super-built…tho some might disagree)
Anyway, i have to agree with everyone else. At that height and weight i have no idea on earth why you would want to cut MORE weight. You should be trying to pack on at least 20 more pounds.
(In my humble opinion.)
And as far as impressing the guys at your gym…just makes me wonder what kind of gym you’re going to.
