How's Grow mixed with just water?

I hear it taste great. But how well does it taste just mix with water?

Meaning no blender, or fruit or milk.

Just scoops, water, and one of those hand shakers.

Its awesome. I usually put 2.5 scoops in a Nalgene bottle and shake. No lumps and tastes great

Lol, here’s my take on your question. Who cares? I’ve never tried grow but I’ve tasted some proteins that taste good and some not so great. Back in HS I probably went through about 80lbs or so of the unflavored protein too (really nasty). In the end it doesn’t matter what you take. Just CHUG it. Then who cares about the taste?

Well, first of all, it would depend on whether you mean the low carb or classic grow.

Both are among, if not the, best tasting in the industry. That said, the classic grow is much better tasting and thicker than low carb grow, which is to be expected.

Low carb grow could easily be mixed in a shaker bottle, whereas classic grow would be a little more difficult to mix in a shaker bottle, but still doable.

Tastes incredible in just water. No need for milk to make it good like with some cheap powder. I prefer low carb for taste and versatility. Classic is very good, but I go for low carb almost exclusively.

If you do like adding milk for extra calories go with the Classic. It just seems weird to buy low carb only to add milk sugar carbs, you know?

As for flavor I choose chocolate the most. Here’s the thing. I HATE choc protein powders! They’re usually too bitter and strong. But low carb choc Grow is incredibly tasty. Vanilla is more versatile though if you like adding fruit and stuff.

I used to use about 30% milk, but just water leaves you a lot less bloated.

Huh? I never thought about it, because I have always mixed Grow (Low-carb) with just water and it’s great. I’ve never been able to do that with other protein powders; I’ve had to add banana or strawberries to make them palatable.

Grow is just the perfect MRP shake mix.

I travel a lot with my job. So when I’m on the road, I just eat Grow with a spoon and gulp it down with water. Don’t even need a blender.
