How Would I Get Enough Protein/Food

I have a good sized breakfast but I head off to school at 7:30. Most days I don’t get home until about 6:00 because of basketball practice. I don’t see how I can get all I need except on weekends.

Also, what kind of stuff is good for a lunch to have at school?

Pack your lunch. High Protein snacks between classes. Take a protein shake or two. that would be ok.

Stuff that isn’t fried or doesn’t have frosting on it is a good start. What’s at your school?

Keeping protein powder in your locker sounds like a good idea.

Natural Peanut Butter is a good, portable bulking food as well.

When I life guarded I would be stuck at work away from food all day. I packed 3 sandwiches, a serving or 2 of fruit, and a serving of vegetables (usually carrots) in addition to a Nalgene that I could finish and refill. Each sandwich was a mix of turkey and roast beef (3 slices of each) and some lowfat swiss. I would have 3 mini meals evenly spaced out through the day that didn’t take long to eat so I could eat them in between shifts. Eat your mini meals during class if you can’t always find breaks to eat. I doubt your teacher will care as long as you don’t leave any crumbs and you don’t disturb the class.

I know it seems like a pain at first to make several extra meals or to start keeping a training journal or to make other changes in your life but after you just start to do it, you won’t think its tedious after a few days. By eating more you’ll see results immediatly because you’ll be able to hold onto those pounds you’ve been struggling to keep on. By keeping a log you’ll immediatly be encouraged to PR every workout. It’s this kind of shit that will actually pay off it you start doing it right now!

Nuts - If you can’t get enough calories from nuts then you must be nuts!

Veges
Yoghurt
Protein Shake

Everything should keep well enough. There are cooler bags to keep stuff cold.

Oh, well then off the top of my head you could also have:

Cheese
Boiled Eggs
Chicken

That should do?

lean meat, veggies, depending on your body type, maybe some rice or a sweet potato
